* configure.in: Use AC_CHECK_TOOL for CC, AR, RANLIB. Accept args
--enable-shared, --enable-profile, --enable-omitfp; pass settings
through to config.make.
* config.make.in (build-shared, build-profile, build-omitfp): New
config vars.
