commit 0060c8783330 ("net: stmmac: implement support for passive mode
converters via dt") has changed the plat-&gt;interface field semantics from
containing the PHY-mode to specifying the MAC-PCS interface mode. Due to
that the loongson32 platform code will leave the phylink interface
uninitialized with the PHY-mode intended by the means of the actual
platform setup. The commit-author most likely has just missed the
arch-specific code to fix. Let's mend the Loongson32 platform code then by
assigning the PHY-mode to the phy_interface field of the STMMAC platform
data.

a new weak prom_free_prom_memory() we can remove all of them.

add_memory_region was the old interface for registering memory and
was already changed to used memblock internaly. Replace it by
directly calling memblock functions.

<title>MIPS: Replace setup_irq() by request_irq()</title>

request_irq() is preferred over setup_irq(). Invocations of setup_irq()
occur after memory allocators are ready.

Per tglx[1], setup_irq() existed in olden days when allocators were not
ready by the time early interrupts were initialized.

Hence replace setup_irq() by request_irq().

remove_irq() has been replaced by free_irq() as well.

There were build error's during previous version, couple of which was
reported by kbuild test robot &lt;lkp@intel.com&gt; of which one was reported
by Thomas Bogendoerfer &lt;tsbogend@alpha.franken.de&gt; as well. There were a
few more issues including build errors, those also have been fixed.

All of Loongson firmwares are passing boot cmdline/env
in the manner of YAMON/PMON. Thus we can remove duplicated
cmdline initialize code and convert to generic fw method.

Now old Loongson-2E/2F use LOONGSON2EF and will be removed in future,
newer Loongson-2/3 use LOONGSON64. So rename LOONGSON1 to LOONGSON32
will make the naming style more unified.
