video_device_alloc() allocates memory for vdev,
when video_register_device() fails, it doesn't release the memory and
leads to memory leak, call video_device_release() to fix this.

The commit in Fixes: is incomplete. It has moved some code in the probe but
not all error handling paths have been updated.

Now, if request_irq() fails, we must release some resources.

We got the following warning when booting the kernel:

The lock 'vc-&gt;qlock' will be initialized in tw686x_video_init(), but the
driver registers the irq before calling the tw686x_video_init(), and we
got the warning.

Fix this by registering the irq at the end of probe

The bus_info field is set by most drivers based on the type of the device
bus as well as the name of the device. Do this in v4l_querycap() so
drivers don't need to. This keeps compatibility with non-default and silly
bus_info.

<title>media: Kconfig: cleanup VIDEO_DEV dependencies</title>

media Kconfig has two entries associated to V4L API:
VIDEO_DEV and VIDEO_V4L2.

On Kernel 2.6.x, there were two V4L APIs, each one with its own flag.
VIDEO_DEV were meant to:
	1) enable Video4Linux and make its Kconfig options to appear;
	2) it makes the Kernel build the V4L core.

while VIDEO_V4L2 where used to distinguish between drivers that
implement the newer API and drivers that implemented the former one.

With time, such meaning changed, specially after the removal of
all V4L version 1 drivers.

At the current implementation, VIDEO_DEV only does (1): it enables
the media options related to V4L, that now has:

	menu "Video4Linux options"
		visible if VIDEO_DEV

	source "drivers/media/v4l2-core/Kconfig"
	endmenu

but it doesn't affect anymore the V4L core drivers.

The rationale is that the V4L2 core has a "soft" dependency
at the I2C bus, and now requires to select a number of other
Kconfig options:

	config VIDEO_V4L2
		tristate
		depends on (I2C || I2C=n) &amp;&amp; VIDEO_DEV
		select RATIONAL
		select VIDEOBUF2_V4L2 if VIDEOBUF2_CORE
		default (I2C || I2C=n) &amp;&amp; VIDEO_DEV

In the past, merging them would be tricky, but it seems that it is now
possible to merge those symbols, in order to simplify V4L dependencies.

Let's keep VIDEO_DEV, as this one is used on some make *defconfig
configurations.

The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away.

The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below and has been
hand modified to replace GFP_ with a correct flag.
It has been compile tested.

When memory is allocated in 'tw686x_audio_dma_alloc()' (tw686x-audio.c)
GFP_KERNEL can be used because it is only called from a probe function
and no spinlock is taken in the between.
The call chain is:
  tw686x_probe					(tw686x-core.c)
    --&gt; tw686x_audio_init					(tw686x-audio.c)
      --&gt; tw686x_audio_dma_alloc					(tw686x-audio.c)

When memory is allocated in 'tw686x_memcpy_dma_alloc()' and in
'tw686x_sg_dma_alloc()' (tw686x-video.c) GFP_KERNEL can be used because
these functions are .alloc functions from a tw686x_dma_ops structure.
