Currently, the idems inside media Kconfig are out of order.
Sort them using the script below:

&lt;script&gt;
use strict;
use warnings;

my %config;
my @source;
my $out;

sub flush_config()
{
	if (scalar %config) {

		}
		%config = ();
	}

	return if (!scalar @source);

	$out .= "\n";
	for my $s (sort @source) {
		$out .= $s;
	}
	$out .= "\n";

	@source = ();
}

sub sort_kconfig($)
{
	my $fname = shift;
	my $cur_config = "";

	@source = ();
	$out = "";
	%config = ();

	open IN, $fname or die;
	while (&lt;IN&gt;) {

	}
	close IN or die;

	flush_config();

	$out =~ s/\n\n+/\n\n/g;

<title>media: Kconfig: cleanup VIDEO_DEV dependencies</title>

media Kconfig has two entries associated to V4L API:
VIDEO_DEV and VIDEO_V4L2.

On Kernel 2.6.x, there were two V4L APIs, each one with its own flag.
VIDEO_DEV were meant to:
	1) enable Video4Linux and make its Kconfig options to appear;
	2) it makes the Kernel build the V4L core.

while VIDEO_V4L2 where used to distinguish between drivers that
implement the newer API and drivers that implemented the former one.

With time, such meaning changed, specially after the removal of
all V4L version 1 drivers.

At the current implementation, VIDEO_DEV only does (1): it enables
the media options related to V4L, that now has:

	menu "Video4Linux options"
		visible if VIDEO_DEV

	source "drivers/media/v4l2-core/Kconfig"
	endmenu

but it doesn't affect anymore the V4L core drivers.

The rationale is that the V4L2 core has a "soft" dependency
at the I2C bus, and now requires to select a number of other
Kconfig options:

	config VIDEO_V4L2
		tristate
		depends on (I2C || I2C=n) &amp;&amp; VIDEO_DEV
		select RATIONAL
		select VIDEOBUF2_V4L2 if VIDEOBUF2_CORE
		default (I2C || I2C=n) &amp;&amp; VIDEO_DEV

In the past, merging them would be tricky, but it seems that it is now
possible to merge those symbols, in order to simplify V4L dependencies.

Let's keep VIDEO_DEV, as this one is used on some make *defconfig
configurations.

Both TT-connect S2-3600 and Pinnacle PCTV Sat HDTV are using
Intersil ISL6423 as LNB voltage regulator. This makes
TT-connect S2-3650 CI the only device which uses STM LNBP22 regulator
which is currently used for all devices driven by pctv452e driver.

This patch fixes this by creating an exception for TT-connect S2-3650 CI
to continue to use STM LNBP22 while all others now using correct ISL6423
driver which makes DiSEqC/EN50494 comands which involve voltage changes
now working on the other devices (which didn't work before).

CONFIG_DVB_USB_CXUSB_ANALOG is a 'bool' symbol with a dependency on the
tristate CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L2, which means it can be enabled as =y even
when its dependency is =m. This leads to a link failure:

drivers/media/usb/dvb-usb/cxusb-analog.o: In function `cxusb_medion_analog_init':
cxusb-analog.c:(.text+0x92): undefined reference to `v4l2_subdev_call_wrappers'

cxusb-analog.c:(.text+0x4fb): undefined reference to `v4l2_subdev_call_wrappers'
...

Change the dependency only disallow the analog portion of the driver
in that configuration.

Those documents don't really describe the driver API.

Instead, they contain development-specific information.

Yet, as the main index file describes the content of it as:

	"how specific kernel subsystems work
	 from the point of view of a kernel developer"

It seems to be the better fit.

At least some of the supported boards by dvb-usb
driver need to load the cypress firmware, so select
it, as otherwise missing dependencies may popup.

Also, as the cypress firmware load routines are needed
only by the dvb-usb, dvb-usb-v2 and go7007 drivers, and
those all (now) select it, there's no need to ask the
user for manually select it.

This patch adds support for analog part of Medion 95700 in the cxusb
driver.

What works:
* Video capture at various sizes with sequential fields,
* Input switching (TV Tuner, Composite, S-Video),
* TV and radio tuning,
* Video standard switching and auto detection,
* Radio mode switching (stereo / mono),
* Unplugging while capturing,
* DVB / analog coexistence.

What does not work yet:
* Audio,
* VBI,
* Picture controls.

Friio device contains "gl861" bridge and "tc90522" demod,
for which the separate drivers are already in the kernel.
But friio driver was monolithic and did not use them,
practically copying those features.
This patch decomposes friio driver into sub drivers and
re-uses existing ones, thus reduces some code.

It adds some features to gl861,
to support the friio-specific init/config of the devices
and implement i2c communications to the tuner via demod
with USB vendor requests.
