<title>net: davicom: Fix return type of dm9000_start_xmit</title>

The ndo_start_xmit field in net_device_ops is expected to be of type
netdev_tx_t (*ndo_start_xmit)(struct sk_buff *skb, struct net_device *dev).

The mismatched return type breaks forward edge kCFI since the underlying
function definition does not match the function hook definition.

The return type of dm9000_start_xmit should be changed from int to
netdev_tx_t.

This patch switches the driver away from legacy gpio/of_gpio API to
gpiod API, and removes use of of_get_named_gpio_flags() which I want to
make private to gpiolib.

Follow the advice of the below link and prefer 'strscpy' in this
subsystem. Conversion is 1:1 because the return value is not used.

Changes introduced since the merge window in the spi subsystem and
available at:

   https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/spi.git tags/spi-remove-void

make the remove() callback for spi return void rather than int, breaking
the newly added dm9051 driver fail to build. This patch fixes this
issue, converting the remove() function provided by the driver to return
void.

The return from the call to dm9051_get_regs() is int, it can be
a negative error code, however this is being assigned to an unsigned
int variable 'ret', so making 'ret' an int.

Eliminate the following coccicheck warning:
./drivers/net/ethernet/davicom/dm9051.c:527:5-8: WARNING: Unsigned
expression compared with zero: ret &lt; 0
