We tell driver developers to always pass NAPI_POLL_WEIGHT as the weight to netif_napi_add(). This may be confusing to newcomers, drop the weight argument, those who really need to tweak the weight can use netif_napi_add_weight(). Most drivers use "skb_transport_offset(skb) + tcp_hdrlen(skb)" to compute headers length for a TCP packet, but others use more convoluted (but equivalent) ways. Before adding yet another possibly contended atomic_long_t, it is time to add per-cpu storage for existing ones: dev->tx_dropped, dev->rx_dropped, and dev->rx_nohandler Because many devices do not have to increment such counters, allocate the per-cpu storage on demand, so that dev_get_stats() does not have to spend considerable time folding zero counters. spi: make remove callback a void function

The value returned by an spi driver's remove function is mostly ignored. (Only an error message is printed if the value is non-zero that the error is ignored.) So change the prototype of the remove function to return no value. This way driver authors are not tempted to assume that passing an error to the upper layer is a good idea. All drivers are adapted accordingly. There is no intended change of behaviour, all callbacks were prepared to return 0 before.
