Currently in mac80211 each STA object is represented
using sta_info datastructure with the associated
STA specific information and drivers access ieee80211_sta
part of it.

With MLO (Multi Link Operation) support being added
in 802.11be standard, though the association is logically
with a single Multi Link capable STA, at the physical level
communication can happen via different advertised
links (uniquely identified by Channel, operating class,
BSSID) and hence the need to handle multiple link
STA parameters within a composite sta_info object
called the MLD STA. The different link STA part of
MLD STA are identified using the link address which can
be same or different as the MLD STA address and unique
link id based on the link vif.

To support extension of such a model, the sta_info
datastructure is modified to hold multiple link STA
objects with link specific params currently within
sta_info moved to this new structure. Similarly this is
done for ieee80211_sta as well which will be accessed
within mac80211 as well as by drivers, hence trivial
driver changes are expected to support this.

For current non MLO supported drivers, only one link STA
is present and link information is accessed via 'deflink'
member.

For MLO drivers, we still need to define the APIs etc. to
get the correct link ID and access the correct part of
the station info.

Currently in mac80211, all link STA info are accessed directly
via deflink. These will be updated to access via link pointers
indexed by link id with MLO support patches, with link id
being 0 for non MLO supported cases.

Except for couple of macro related changes, below spatch takes
care of updating mac80211 and driver code to access to the
link STA info via deflink.

<title>iwlwifi: fix LED dependencies</title>

The dependencies for LED configuration are highly inconsistent and too
complicated at the moment. One of the results is a randconfig failure I
get very rarely when LEDS_CLASS is in a loadable module, but the wireless
core is built-in:

WARNING: unmet direct dependencies detected for MAC80211_LEDS
  Depends on [n]: NET [=y] &amp;&amp; WIRELESS [=y] &amp;&amp; MAC80211 [=y] &amp;&amp; (LEDS_CLASS [=m]=y || LEDS_CLASS [=m]=MAC80211 [=y])
  Selected by [m]:
  - IWLEGACY [=m] &amp;&amp; NETDEVICES [=y] &amp;&amp; WLAN [=y] &amp;&amp; WLAN_VENDOR_INTEL [=y]
  - IWLWIFI_LEDS [=y] &amp;&amp; NETDEVICES [=y] &amp;&amp; WLAN [=y] &amp;&amp; WLAN_VENDOR_INTEL [=y] &amp;&amp; IWLWIFI [=m] &amp;&amp; (LEDS_CLASS [=m]=y || LEDS_CLASS [=m]=IWLWIFI [=m]) &amp;&amp; (IWLMVM [=m] || IWLDVM [=m])

aarch64-linux-ld: drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath5k/led.o: in function `ath5k_register_led':
led.c:(.text+0x60): undefined reference to `led_classdev_register_ext'
aarch64-linux-ld: drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath5k/led.o: in function `ath5k_unregister_leds':
led.c:(.text+0x200): undefined reference to `led_classdev_unregister'

For iwlwifi, the dependency is wrong, since this config prevents the
MAC80211_LEDS code from being part of a built-in MAC80211 driver.

For iwlegacy, this is worse because the driver tries to force-enable
the other subsystems, which is both a layering violation and a bug
because it will still fail with MAC80211=y and IWLEGACY=m, leading
to LEDS_CLASS being a module as well.

The actual link failure in the ath5k driver is a result of MAC80211_LEDS
being enabled but not usable. With the Kconfig logic fixed in the
Intel drivers, the ath5k driver works as expected again.

In support of enabling -Warray-bounds and -Wzero-length-bounds and
correctly handling run-time memcpy() bounds checking, replace all
open-coded flexible arrays (i.e. 0-element arrays) in unions with the
DECLARE_FLEX_ARRAY() helper macro.

This fixes warnings such as:

'destroy_workqueue()' already drains the queue before destroying it, so
there is no need to flush it explicitly.

Remove the redundant 'flush_workqueue()' calls.

The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away.

The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below.

It has been hand modified to use 'dma_set_mask_and_coherent()' instead of
'pci_set_dma_mask()/pci_set_consistent_dma_mask()' when applicable.
This is less verbose.

It has been compile tested.

There are a couple of warnings in this driver when building with W=1:

drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlegacy/common.c: In function 'il_power_set_mode':
drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlegacy/common.c:1195:60: error: suggest braces around empty body in an 'if' statement [-Werror=empty-body]
 1195 |                                 il-&gt;chain_noise_data.state);
      |                                                            ^
drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlegacy/common.c: In function 'il_do_scan_abort':
drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlegacy/common.c:1343:57: error: suggest braces around empty body in an 'else' statement [-Werror=empty-body]

Change the empty debug macros to no_printk(), which avoids the
warnings and adds useful format string checks.

<title>iwl4965: do not process non-QOS frames on txq-&gt;sched_retry path</title>

We have already WARN_ON(!qc) for non-QOS frame on txq-&gt;sched_retry path,
but we continue to process, what makes no sense since tid is not
initialized. Non QOS frame should never happen when aggregation
is enabled on queue, so do not process that.

Patch should fix smatch warning:
drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlegacy/4965-mac.c:2822 il4965_hdl_tx() error: uninitialized symbol 'tid'.

<title>net: ipw2x00,iwlegacy,iwlwifi: Remove in_interrupt() from debug macros</title>

The usage of in_interrupt() in non-core code is phased out.

The debugging macros in these drivers use in_interrupt() to print 'I' or
'U' depending on the return value of in_interrupt(). While 'U' is confusing
at best and 'I' is not really describing the actual context (hard interupt,
soft interrupt, bottom half disabled section) these debug macros originate
from the pre ftrace kernel era and their value today is questionable. They
probably should be removed completely.

The macros weere added initially for ipw2100 and then spreaded when the
driver was forked.

Remove the in_interrupt() usage at least..
