After commit 3285ea10e9b0("ALSA: asihpi - Interrelated HPI tidy up."),
struct hpi_subsys_response is not used any more and can be removed as well.

The recent change in ALSA core allows drivers to get the current PCM
state directly from runtime object. Replace the calls accordingly.

The hpi_meter_get_peak() function contains the expression
"hm.obj_index = hm.obj_index", which does not carry any semantic load.

<title>ALSA: asihpi: fix comment syntax in file headers</title>

The opening comment mark '/**' is used for highlighting the beginning of
kernel-doc comments.
There are files in sound/pci/asihpi which follow this syntax in their file
headers, i.e. start with '/**' like comments, which causes unexpected
warnings from kernel-doc.

E.g., running scripts/kernel-doc -none on sound/pci/asihpi/hpidspcd.h
causes this warning:
"warning: Cannot understand
 on line 4 - I thought it was a doc line"

Provide a simple fix by replacing the kernel-doc like comment syntax with
general format, i.e. "/*", to prevent kernel-doc from parsing it.

Use DIV_ROUND_UP() instead of open-coding it. This documents intent
and makes it more clear what is going on for the casual reviewer.

Generated using the following the Coccinelle semantic patch.

// &lt;smpl&gt;
@@
expression x, y;
@@
-(((x) + (y) - 1) / (y))
+DIV_ROUND_UP(x, y)
// &lt;/smpl&gt;

clang static analysis flags this problem
hpioctl.c:513:7: warning: Branch condition evaluates to
  a garbage value
                if (pci.ap_mem_base[idx]) {
                    ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If there is a failure in the middle of the memory space loop,
only some of the memory spaces need to be cleaned up.

At the error handler, idx holds the number of successful
memory spaces mapped. So rework the handler loop to use the
old idx.

There is a second problem, the memory space loop conditionally
iomaps()/sets the mem_base so it is necessay to initize pci.
