2016-11-17Documentation: bindings: add compatible specific to pre v1.0 SCPI protocolsSudeep Holla1-1/+4
This patch adds specific compatible to support all the unversioned SCPI protocols prior to v1.0 release. This will be applicable for all the implementations using draft versions or modified versions of those draft vesrions of SCPI protocol. 2016-11-17Documentation: bindings: decouple juno specific details from generic bindingSudeep Holla1-13/+7
Since SCPI is a generic protocol and the bindings are intended to be generic, we need to decouple all the platform specific binding details out of the generic bindings. This patch moves are the Juno platform specific details into a separate binding document. Acked-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Sudeep Holla <sudeep.holla@arm.com>
2016-06-21Documentation: add DT bindings for ARM SCPI power domainsSudeep Holla1-0/+34
The System Control Processor (SCP) provides peripheral devices with power domains that can be enabled and disabled viathe System Control and Power Interface (SCPI) Message Protocol. Add bindings to allow probing of these device power domians. 2015-12-09dt-bindings: Consolidate SRAM bindings from all vendorsKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+1
SRAM bindings for various SoCs, using the mmio-sram genalloc API, are spread over different places - per SoC vendor. Since all of these are quite similar (they depend on mmio-sram) move them to a common place. 2015-10-09Documentation: add DT bindings for ARM SCPI sensorsPunit Agrawal1-0/+38
The System Control Processor (SCP) provides access to SoC sensors via the System Control and Power Interface (SCPI) Message Protocol. Add bindings to allow probing of these sensors. Also support referencing of the sensors for setting up thermal zones via the thermal DT bindings. 2015-09-28Documentation: add DT binding for ARM System Control and Power Interface(SCPI) protocolSudeep Holla1-0/+150
This patch adds devicetree binding for System Control and Power Interface (SCPI) Message Protocol used between the Application Cores(AP) and the System Control Processor(SCP). The MHU peripheral provides a mechanism for inter-processor communication between SCP's M3 processor and AP. SCP offers control and management of the core/cluster power states, various power domain DVFS including the core/cluster, certain system clocks configuration, thermal sensors and many others.
