2019-08-21dt-bindings: arm-boards: Update pointer to ARM CPU bindingsGeert Uytterhoeven1-1/+1
The ARM CPU DT bindings were converted from plain text to YAML, but not all referrers were updated. 2016-11-15dt/bindings: arm-boards: Remove skeleton.dtsi inclusion from exampleGeert Uytterhoeven1-1/+2
As of commit 9c0da3cc61f1233c ("ARM: dts: explicitly mark skeleton.dtsi as deprecated"), including skeleton.dtsi is deprecated. Hence remove it from the example. 2016-04-04Documentation/DT: add blurb for IB2 syscon to VersatileLinus Walleij1-0/+8
The ARM Versatile has an optional daughterboard, if this is mounted, we need to be able to access its system controller. Put in a documentation blurb for this. 2013-12-04ARM: integrator: move EBI to the device treeLinus Walleij1-0/+8
This moves the External Bus Interface (EBI) over to a device tree node and deletes the static mappings from the platform. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-10-16ARM: integrator: core module registers from compatible stringsLinus Walleij1-13/+17
This augments the core machine code for the Integrator platforms to get their references to the core module device nodes by using compatible strings instead of predefined node names and rename the CP syscon node to be simply "syscon". Reported-by: Mark Rutland <mark.rutland@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-10-16ARM: integrator: move CM base into device treeLinus Walleij1-0/+19
This moves the core module (CM) control base into the device tree. It is a simple memory range of 0x200 bytes. Move the cm header down into the machine directory and unexport the cm_control() symbol as no modules are using it. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-10-16ARM: integrator: get the LM interrupts from DTLinus Walleij1-0/+21
The OF/DT boot path needs to get the LM (Logical Module) IRQs from the device tree for coherency. This augments the DT syscon node to contain these IRQs and alter the DT LM code to get them from there. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2012-11-16ARM: integrator: hook the CP into the SoC busLinus Walleij1-0/+4
This hooks the Integrator/CP into the SoC bus when booting from device tree, by mapping the CP controller registers first, then registering the SoC device, and then populating the device tree with the SoC device as parent. 2012-09-17ARM: 7517/1: integrator: initial device tree supportLinus Walleij1-0/+12
This is initial device tree support for the ARM Integrator family, we create a very basic device tree, #ifdef out the non-DT machines when compiling for device tree. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2011-07-28arm/versatile: Add device tree supportGrant Likely1-0/+20
For testing the dt work, define a dt-enabled versatile platform. This patch adds a new versatile platform for when using the device tree. Add platform and amba devices are discovered and registered by parsing the device tree. Clocks and initial io mappings are still configured statically. This patch still depends on some static platform_data for a few devices which is passed via the auxdata structure to of_platform_populate(), but it is a viable starting point until the drivers can get all configuration data out of the device tree.
