Pull clk updates from Stephen Boyd: "The new and exciting feature this time around is in the clk core. We've added duty cycle support to the clk API so that clk signal duty cycle ratios can be adjusted while taking into account things like clk dividers and clk tree hierarchy. So far only one SoC has implemented support for this, but I expect there will be more to come in the future. Outside of the core, we have the usual pile of clk driver updates and additions. The Amlogic meson driver got the most lines in the diffstat this time around because it added support for a whole bunch of hardware and duty cycle configuration. After that the Rockchip PX30, Qualcomm SDM845, and Renesas SoC drivers fill in a majority of the diff. We're left with the collection of non-critical fixes after that. Overall it looks pretty quiet this time. 2018-07-25dt-bindings: remove 'interrupt-parent' from bindingsRob Herring1-7/+0
'interrupt-parent' is often documented as part of define bindings, but it is really outside the scope of a device binding. It's never required in a given node as it is often inherited from a parent node. Or it can be implicit if a parent node is an 'interrupt-controller' node. So remove it from all the binding files. 2017-09-01dt-bindings: clk: at91: add audio plls to the compatible listQuentin Schulz1-0/+10
This new clock driver set allows to have a fractional divided clock that would generate a precise clock particularly suitable for audio applications. The main audio pll clock has two children clocks: one that is connected to the PMC, the other that can directly drive a pad. As these two routes have different enable bits and different dividers and divider formulas, they are handled by two different drivers. This adds the audio plls (frac, pad and pmc) to the compatible list of at91 clocks in DT binding. 2016-09-20clk: at91: Add sama5d4 sckc supportAlexandre Belloni1-1/+2
Starting with sama5d4, the crystal oscillator is always enabled at startup and the SCKC doesn't have an OSC32EN bit anymore. Add support for that new controller. Signed-off-by: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@free-electrons.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2015-10-01clk: at91: add generated clock driverNicolas Ferre1-0/+35
Add a new type of clocks that can be provided to a peripheral. In addition to the peripheral clock, this new clock that can use several input clocks as parents can generate divided rates. This would allow a peripheral to have finer grained clocks for generating a baud rate, clocking an asynchronous part or having more options in frequency. 2014-09-22clk: at91: add a driver for the h32mx clockAlexandre Belloni1-0/+14
Newer SoCs have two different AHB interconnect. The AHB 32 bits Matrix interconnect (h32mx) has a clock that can be setup at the half of the h64mx clock (which is mck). The h32mx clock can not exceed 90 MHz. Pull part one of ARM SoC updates from Olof Johansson: "A quite large set of SoC updates this cycle. In no particular order: - Multi-cluster power management for Samsung Exynos, adding support for big.LITTLE CPU switching on EXYNOS5 - SMP support for Marvell Armada 375 and 38x - SMP rework on Allwinner A31 - Xilinx Zynq support for SOC_BUS, big endian - Marvell orion5x platform cleanup, modernizing the implementation and moving to DT. - _Finally_ moving Samsung Exynos over to support MULTIPLATFORM, so that their platform can be enabled in the same kernel binary as most of the other v7 platforms in the tree. \o/ The work isn't quite complete, there's some driver fixes still needed, but the basics now work. New SoC support added: - Freescale i.MX6SX - LSI Axxia AXM55xx SoCs - Samsung EXYNOS 3250, 5260, 5410, 5420 and 5800 - STi STIH407 plus a large set of various smaller updates for different platforms.
