This patch documents following updates of the Exynos4 SoC camera subsystem
devicetree binding:
- addition of #clock-cells and clock-output-names properties to 'camera'
node - these are now needed so the image sensor sub-devices can reference
clocks provided by the camera host interface,
- dropped a note about required clock-frequency properties at the
image sensor nodes; the sensor devices can now control their clock
explicitly through the clk API and there is no need to require this
property in the camera host interface binding.

This patch enables the JPEG codec on S5PV210 and Exynos4210 SoCs. There are
some differences in newer versions of the JPEG codec IP on SoCs like Exynos4x12
and Exynos5 series and support for them will be added in subsequent patches.

This patch adds support to ST RC driver, which is basically a IR/UHF
receiver and transmitter. This IP (IRB) is common across all the ST
parts for settop box platforms. IRB is embedded in ST COMMS IP block.
It supports both Rx & Tx functionality.
This driver adds only Rx functionality via LIRC codec.

Add compatible property for the Exynos5250 and enable the frame start
and frame end interrupts. These interrupts are needed for the Exynos5
FIMC-IS firmware. The driver enables those interrupt only where available,
depending on the 'compatible' property. This can be optimized further,
by exposing some API at the subdev driver, so the host driver can enable
extra interrupts only for the image processing chains involving FIMC-IS.

This patch adds support for the Exynos5250 SoC variant of the FIMC-LITE
IP. A 'compatible' string is added for Exynos5250 compatible devices
and the capture DMA handling is reworked to use the FLITE_REG_CIFCNTSEQ
register, masking output DMA buffer address slots. The frame interrupt
is enabled so there are now 2 interrupts per frame. This likely can be
optimized in future by using any status registers that allow to figure
out what the last and the currently written frame buffer is. It would
also be more reliable in cases where there are high interrupt service
latencies.

Pull ARM SoC driver changes from Olof Johansson:
"This is a rather large set of patches for device drivers that for one
reason or another the subsystem maintainer preferred to get merged
through the arm-soc tree. There are both new drivers as well as
existing drivers that are getting converted from platform-specific
code into standalone drivers using the appropriate subsystem specific
interfaces.
In particular, we can now have pinctrl, clk, clksource and irqchip
drivers in one file per driver, without the need to call into platform
specific interface, or to get called from platform specific code, as
long as all information about the hardware is provided through a
device tree.
Most of the drivers we touch this time are for clocksource. Since now
most of them are part of drivers/clocksource, I expect that we won't
have to touch these again from arm-soc and can let the clocksource
maintainers take care of these in the future.
Another larger part of this series is specific to the exynos platform,
which is seeing some significant effort in upstreaming and
modernization of its device drivers this time around, which
unfortunately is also the cause for the churn and a lot of the merge
conflicts.
There is one new subsystem that gets merged as part of this series:
the reset controller interface, which is a very simple interface for
taking devices on the SoC out of reset or back into reset. Patches to
use this interface on i.MX follow later in this merge window, and we
are going to have other platforms (at least tegra and sirf) get
converted in 3.11. This will let us get rid of platform specific
callbacks in a number of platform independent device drivers."

Pull media update from Mauro Carvalho Chehab:
- OF documentation and patches at core and drivers, to be used by for
embedded media systems
- some I2C drivers used on go7007 were rewritten/promoted from staging:
sony-btf-mpx, tw2804, tw9903, tw9906, wis-ov7640, wis-uda1342
- add fimc-is driver (Exynos)

- split camera code on em28xx driver and add more models
- the cypress firmware load is used outside dvb usb drivers. So, move
it to a common directory to make easier to re-use it

- several work done in order to promote go7007 and solo6x1x out of
staging (still, there are some pending issues)
- several API compliance fixes at v4l2 drivers that don't behave as
expected

The 'camera' DT node needs to have sclk_cam0/1 and pxl_async0/1 clocks
specified, while 'fimc' nodes should have only "fimc" and "sclk_fimc".
"mux" and "parent" are leftovers from early versions of patches adding
DT support, when the IP bus clock parent clock was being set by the
driver. A better solution is needed to have e.g. clocks driver setting
all required parent clocks, before clock consumers start using the
clocks. Currently this binding doesn't describe parent clocks setup,
it needs to be specified and handled somewhere else.

Before the camera ports can be used the pinmux needs to be configured
properly. This patch adds a function to set the camera ports pinctrl
to a default state within the media driver's probe().
The camera port(s) are then configured for the video bus operation.

The sensor (I2C and/or SPI client) devices are instantiated by their
corresponding control bus drivers. Since the I2C client's master clock
is often provided by a video bus receiver (host interface) or other
than I2C/SPI controller device, the drivers of those client devices
are not accessing hardware in their driver's probe() callback. Instead,
after enabling clock, the host driver calls back into a sub-device
when it wants to activate them. This pattern is used by some in-tree
drivers and this patch also uses it for DT case. This patch is intended
as a first step for adding device tree support to the S5P/Exynos SoC
camera drivers. The second one is adding support for asynchronous
sub-devices registration and clock control from sub-device driver
level. The bindings shall not change when asynchronous probing support
is added.

This patch adds the device tree support for FIMC-LITE device
driver. The bindings include compatible property for the Exynos5
SoC series, however the actual implementation for these SoCs will
be added in a separate patch.

This patch adds device tree support for FIMC driver on S5PV210
and Exynos4 SoCs.
The FIMC IP block's features and quirks encoded statically in
the driver are now parsed from the device tree. Once all relevant
platforms are converted to device tree based booting the FIMC
variant data structures will all be removed from the driver.

This patch support for binding the driver to the MIPI-CSIS
devices instantiated from device tree and parsing the SoC
and board specific properties. The MIPI CSI-2 channel is
determined by the value of reg property placed in csis'
port subnode.
