2018-07-25dt-bindings: remove 'interrupt-parent' from bindingsRob Herring1-3/+0
'interrupt-parent' is often documented as part of define bindings, but it is really outside the scope of a device binding. It's never required in a given node as it is often inherited from a parent node. Or it can be implicit if a parent node is an 'interrupt-controller' node. So remove it from all the binding files. 2017-09-05dt-bindings: Remove "status" from examplesRob Herring1-1/+0
Pretty much any node can have a status property, so it doesn't need to be in examples. Converted with the following command and removed examples with SoC and board specific splits: git grep -l -E 'status.*=.*' Documentation/devicetree/ | xargs sed -i -E '/\sstatus.*=.*"(disabled|ok|okay)/d' Acked-by: Mark Rutland <mark.rutland@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2016-04-29net: ethernet: enc28j60: add device tree supportMichael Heimpold1-0/+59
The following patch adds the required match table for device tree support (and while at, fix the indent). It's also possible to specify the MAC address in the DT blob. Also add the corresponding binding documentation file. Signed-off-by: Michael Heimpold <mhei@heimpold.de> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
