2017-04-28PM / Domains: Fix DT exampleViresh Kumar1-1/+1
The power-domain provider's #power-domain-cells field is set to 0 and yet the children is using an index to point the power domain. Fix it by removing the index field. 2017-03-29PM / Domains: Ignore domain-idle-states that are not compatibleLina Iyer1-1/+3
domain-idle-states property may have phandles to idle state bindings that may not be compatible with idle state definition defined in [1]. Such phandles would just be ignored and not throw and error when read by the domain core. 2016-12-06PM / Domains: Fix compatible for domain idle stateLina Iyer1-4/+4
Re-using idle state definition provided by arm,idle-state for domain idle states creates a lot of confusion and limits further evolution of the domain idle definition. To keep things clear and simple, define a idle states for domain using a new compatible "domain-idle-state". Fix existing PM domains code to look for the newly defined compatible. 2015-07-31PM / Domains: Correct unit address in power-controller exampleGeert Uytterhoeven1-1/+1
In example 2 of the generic PM domains DT bindings, the unit address of the device node representing the child power controller doesn't match its "reg" property. Correct it. 2015-02-27dt-bindings: document a note about power domain subdomainsMarek Szyprowski1-0/+29
This patch adds a note on defining subdomains to generic PM domain binding documentation to let power domain providers use common approach for defining power domain hierarchy. 2014-09-22PM / Domains: Add generic OF-based PM domain look-upTomasz Figa1-0/+49
This patch introduces generic code to perform PM domain look-up using device tree and automatically bind devices to their PM domains. Generic device tree bindings are introduced to specify PM domains of devices in their device tree nodes. Backwards compatibility with legacy Samsung-specific PM domain bindings is provided, but for now the new code is not compiled when CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS is selected to avoid collision with legacy code. This will change as soon as the Exynos PM domain code gets converted to use the generic framework in further patch. This patch was originally submitted by Tomasz Figa when he was employed by Samsung.
