2017-01-22sched/Documentation/sched-rt-group: Fix incorrect exampleZhou Chengming1-4/+4
I feel that the example given in the document to show the possibility of task starvation of configurable period is wrong. The example says group A and B both have 50% bandwidth, and a while (1) loop in A will run for the full period of B and can starve B's tasks. So I think the runtime of group A should be 50000us, then the period and runtime of group B should be 50000us and 25000us. 2011-06-15Documentation: update cgroupfs mount pointJörg Sommer1-4/+3
According to commit 676db4af0430 ("cgroupfs: create /sys/fs/cgroup to mount cgroupfs on") the canonical mountpoint for the cgroup filesystem is /sys/fs/cgroup. Hence, this should be used in the documentation. 2009-05-05sched: rt: document the risk of small values in the bandwidth settingsPeter Zijlstra1-0/+18
Thomas noted that we should disallow sysctl_sched_rt_runtime == 0 for (!RT_GROUP) since the root group always has some RT tasks in it. Further, update the documentation to inspire clue.
