2018-01-22	sparc64: Oracle DAX driver	Rob Gardner	2	-0/+1862
	DAX is a coprocessor which resides on the SPARC M7 (DAX1) and M8 (DAX2) processor chips, and has direct access to the CPU's L3 caches as well as physical memory. It can perform several operations on data streams with various input and output formats. This driver provides a transport mechanism and has limited knowledge of the various opcodes and data formats. A user space library provides high level services and translates these into low level commands which are then passed into the driver and subsequently the hypervisor and the coprocessor. The library is the recommended way for applications to use the coprocessor, and the driver interface is not intended for general use. 	The name field of of_platform_driver is just copied into the included device_driver. By not overriding an already initialised device_driver name, we can convert the drivers over time to stop using the of_platform_driver name. 	Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
