2018-08-29ARM: dts: exynos: Mark 1 GHz CPU OPP as suspend OPP on Exynos5250Marek Szyprowski1-0/+1
1 GHz CPU OPP is the default boot value for the Exynos5250 SOC, so mark it as suspend OPP. This fixes suspend/resume on Samsung Exynos5250 Snow Chomebook, which was broken since switching to generic cpufreq-dt driver in v4.3. 2018-08-29ARM: dts: exynos: Convert exynos5250.dtsi to opp-v2 bindingsMarek Szyprowski1-42/+88
Convert Exynos5250 to OPP-v2 bindings. This is a preparation to add proper support for suspend operation point, which cannot be marked in opp-v1. 2018-06-25arm: dts: exynos: Add missing cooling device properties for CPUsViresh Kumar1-0/+23
The cooling device properties, like "#cooling-cells" and "dynamic-power-coefficient", should either be present for all the CPUs of a cluster or none. If these are present only for a subset of CPUs of a cluster then things will start falling apart as soon as the CPUs are brought online in a different order. For example, this will happen because the operating system looks for such properties in the CPU node it is trying to bring up, so that it can register a cooling device. Add such missing properties. Fix other missing properties (clocks, OPP, clock latency) as well to make it all work. Signed-off-by: Viresh Kumar <viresh.kumar@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-05-03ARM: dts: exynos/s3c: Remove leading 0x and 0s from bindings notationMathieu Malaterre1-1/+1
Improve the DTS files by removing all the leading "0x" and zeros to fix the following dtc warnings: Warning (unit_address_format): Node /XXX unit name should not have leading "0x" Warning (unit_address_format): Node /XXX unit name should not have leading 0s Converted using the following command: find arch/arm/boot/dts -type f \( -iname "*.dts" -o -iname "*.dtsi" \) -exec sed -i \ -e "s/@\([0-9a-fA-FxX\.;:#]\+\)\s*{/@\L\1 {/g" -e "s/@0x\(.*\) {/@\1 \ {/g" -e "s/@0\+\(.\+\) {/@\1 {/g" {} + For simplicity, two sed expressions were used to solve each warnings separately. To make the regex expression more robust a few other issues were resolved, namely setting unit-address to lower case, and adding a whitespace before the the opening curly brace: https://elinux.org/Device_Tree_Linux#Linux_conventions This will solve also a side effect warning: Warning (simple_bus_reg): Node /XXX@<UPPER> simple-bus unit address format error, expected "<lower>" This is a follow up to commit 4c9847b7375a ("dt-bindings: Remove leading 0x from bindings notation") Reported-by: David Daney <ddaney@caviumnetworks.com> Suggested-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Mathieu Malaterre <malat@debian.org> [krzk: Rerun the command to include few more changes, adjust the commit msg] Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>

2015-07-21ARM: dts: Include exynos5250-pinctrl after the nodes were defined for exynos5250Javier Martinez Canillas1-1/+2
The dtc compiler combines all the defined nodes that have the same path so a device node definition can be in one file and later be extended in another one. That's the case of the Exynos5250 pinctrl device nodes that are defined in the exynos5250.dtsi file and extended in exynos5250-pinctrl.dtsi. But since the exynos5250.dtsi file includes the exynos5250-pinctrl.dtsi before the pinctrl device nodes are actually defined, the definition of the pinctrl device nodes happens in exynos5250-pinctrl.dtsi and are extended in exynos5250.dtsi. That is the opposite of the original intention so even when there is no difference in practice, the exynos5250-pinctrl.dtsi include should be moved at the end of the exynos5250.dtsi file after the pinctrl device nodes have been already defined. This will also allow to later change the exynos5250-pinctrl.dtsi file to use labels instead of full paths to extend the pinctrl nodes. Since keeping the include at the top, would cause a dtc build error due the pinctrl labels not being defined yet. Pull ARM DT updates from Olof Johansson: "As always, this tends to be one of our bigger branches. There are lots of updates this release, but not that many jumps out as something that needs more detailed coverage. Some of the highlights are: - DTs for the new Annapurna Labs Alpine platform - more graphics DT pieces falling into place on Exynos, bridges, clocks. - plenty of DT updates for Qualcomm platforms for various IP blocks - some churn on Tegra due to switch-over to tool-generated pinctrl data - misc fixes and updates for Atmel at91 platforms - various DT updates to add IP block support on Broadcom's Cygnus platforms - more updates for Renesas platforms as DT support is added for various IP blocks (IPMMU, display, audio, etc)" * tag 'armsoc-dt' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (231 commits) ARM: dts: alpine: add internal pci Revert "ARM: dts: mt8135: Add pinctrl/GPIO/EINT node for mt8135." 2015-03-18ARM: exynos4/5: convert pmu wakeup to stacked domainsMarc Zyngier1-0/+4
Exynos has been (ab)using the gic_arch_extn to provide wakeup from suspend, and it makes a lot of sense to convert this code to use stacked domains instead. This patch does just this, updating the DT files to actually reflect what the HW provides. BIG FAT WARNING: because the DTs were so far lying by not exposing the fact that the PMU block is actually the first interrupt controller in the chain for RTC, kernels with this patch applied wont have any suspend-resume facility when booted with old DTs, and old kernels with updated DTs may not even boot. Also, I strongly suspect that there is more than two wake-up interrupts on these platforms, but I leave it to the maintainers to fix their mess.
