2018-07-03ARM: dts: imx51: Fix USB PHY duplicate unit-addressFabio Estevam1-14/+7
Currently the following DTC warnings are seen with W=1: arch/arm/boot/dts/imx51-babbage.dtb: Warning (unique_unit_address): /usbphy/usbphy@0: duplicate unit-address (also used in node /usbphy/usbh1phy@0) arch/arm/boot/dts/imx51-eukrea-mbimxsd51-baseboard.dtb: Warning (unique_unit_address): /usbphy/usbphy@0: duplicate unit-address (also used in node /usbphy/usbh1phy@0) Fix it by moving the USB PHY nodes outside of simple-bus and drop the unneeded unit-address, which matches the bindings documentation at Documentation/devicetree/bindings/usb/usb-nop-xceiv.txt While at it rename the USB PHY node to usbphy1 for consistency. 2017-12-26ARM: dts: imx: Add missing #phy-cells to usb-nop-xceivRob Herring1-0/+1
"usb-nop-xceiv" is using the phy binding, but is missing #phy-cells property. This is probably because the binding was the precursor to the phy binding. Fixes the following warning in i.MX dts files: Warning (phys_property): Missing property '#phy-cells' in node ... 2017-01-02ARM: dts: imx: remove obsoleted property fsl,spi-num-chipselectsVladimir Zapolskiy1-1/+0
Since commit b36581df7e78 ("spi: imx: Using existing properties for chipselects") the device tree property 'fsl,spi-num-chipselects' is unused and it is already marked as obsolete in device tree binding documentation. Remove the property from the existing DTS files to avoid its reoccurence on copying. 2016-06-11ARM: dts: imx: Use generic uart-has-rtscts DT propertyGeert Uytterhoeven1-2/+2
As of commit 1006ed7e1b258dac ("serial: imx: Use generic uart-has-rtscts DT property"), the Freescale IMX UART driver recognizes the generic "uart-has-rtscts" DT property, deprecating the vendor-specific "fsl,uart-has-rtscts" DT property. Hence replace the latter by the former in all DTS files. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert+renesas@glider.be> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2016-02-29ARM: dts: imx: replace legacy wakeup property with 'wakeup-source'Sudeep Holla1-1/+1
Though the keyboard and other driver will continue to support the legacy "gpio-key,wakeup", "linux, wakeup" and "enable-sdio-wakeup" boolean property to enable the wakeup source, "wakeup-source" is the new standard binding. This patch replaces all the legacy wakeup properties with the unified "wakeup-source" property in order to avoid any futher copy-paste duplication. 2014-07-18ARM: dts: imx: remove ssi fsl, mode for audio cardsMarkus Pargmann1-1/+0
The DAI mode is and should be configured by the sound card driver as codec and ssi have to be in the right modes to communicate with each other. It is possible to operate the ssi unit or the codec in master mode, sometimes even on the same board in different configurations. With the latest changes in the fsl-ssi driver, the 'fsl, mode' property is only handled as a fallback property. If the sound card sets the DAI mode correctly, this fallback configuration is dropped. The following commit: 89d7e5c mmc: sdhci-esdhc-imx: add runtime pm support has the effect of also disabling the hardware card detect in runtime pm. We switch to GPIO based detection to avoid this issue.
