2019-08-23ARM: dts: sunxi: Add mdio bus sub-node to GMACChen-Yu Tsai1-4/+6
The DWMAC binding never supported having the Ethernet PHY node as a direct child to the controller, nor did it support the "phy" property as a way to specify which Ethernet PHY to use. What seemed to work was simply the implementation ignoring the "phy" property and instead probing all addresses on the MDIO bus and using the first available one. The recent switch from "phy" to "phy-handle" breaks the assumptions of the implementation, and does not match what the binding requires. The binding requires that if an MDIO bus is described, it shall be a sub-node with the "snps,dwmac-mdio" compatible string. Add a device node for the MDIO bus, and move the Ethernet PHY node under it. Also fix up the #address-cells and #size-cells properties where needed. 2019-04-04ARM: dts: sunxi: Remove pinctrl groups setting biasMaxime Ripard1-16/+2
So far we've enabled pull-up and pull-down resistors on GPIOs using a pinctrl node. Now that the GPIO binding allows for a flag to declare this, let's switch to it. This brings us closer to removing all the GPIO pinctrl nodes, which will in turn allow us to switch the pinctrl strict mode on. 2019-03-25ARM: sunxi: Fix the USB PHY VBUS detect GPIO propertiesMaxime Ripard1-1/+1
While the USB PHY Device Tree mandates that the name of the VBUS detect pin should be usb0_vbus_det-gpios, a significant number of device tree use usb0_vbus_det-gpio instead. This was functional because the GPIO framework falls back to the gpio suffix that is legacy, but we should fix this. Pull ARM Device-tree updates from Olof Johansson: "As usual, this is where the bulk of our changes end up landing each merge window. The individual updates are too many to enumerate, many many platforms have seen additions of device descriptions such that they are functionally more complete (in fact, this is often the bulk of updates we see). Instead I've mostly focused on highlighting the new platforms below as they are introduced. Sometimes the introduction is of mostly a fragment, that later gets filled in on later releases, and in some cases it's near-complete platform support. The latter is more common for derivative platforms that already has similar support in-tree. Two SoCs are slight outliers from the usual range of additions. Allwinner support for F1C100s, a quite old SoC (ARMv5-based) shipping in the Lychee Pi Nano platform. At the other end is NXP Layerscape LX2160A, a 16-core 2.2GHz Cortex-A72 SoC with a large amount of I/O aimed at infrastructure/networking. TI updates stick out in the diff stats too, in particular because they have moved the description of their L4 on-chip interconnect to devicetree, which opens up for removal of even more of their platform-specific 'hwmod' description tables over the next few releases. 2018-12-13regulator: dts: enable soft-start and ramp delay for the OLinuXino Lime2Olliver Schinagl1-0/+2
The OLinuXino Lime2 has a big capacitor on its LDO3 output. It is actually too large, causing the PMIC to shutdown when toggling the LDO3. By enabling soft-start and ramp delay we increase the time for the capacitor to charge lowering the current drain on the power regulator. 2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun7i: Provide default muxing for relevant controllersMaxime Ripard1-6/+0

2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun7i: Remove underscores from nodes namesMaxime Ripard1-3/+3
Some GPIO pinctrl nodes cannot be easily removed, because they would also change the pin configuration, for example to add a pull resistor or change the current delivered by the pin. Those nodes still have underscores and unit-addresses in their node names in our DTs, so adjust their name to remove the warnings. Use that occasion to also fix some poorly chosen node-names. 2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun7i: Change pinctrl nodes to avoid warningMaxime Ripard1-5/+5
All our pinctrl nodes were using a node name convention with a unit-address to differentiate the different muxing options. However, since those nodes didn't have a reg property, they were generating warnings in DTC. In order to accomodate for this, convert the old nodes to the syntax we've been using for the new SoCs, including removing the letter suffix of the node labels to the bank of those pins to make things more readable. 2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun7i: Remove all useless pinctrl nodesMaxime Ripard1-12/+0

2018-02-13ARM: dts: sunxi: Switch MMC nodes away from cd-inverted propertyTuomas Tynkkynen1-2/+1
Using the cd-inverted property is not useful when GPIOs are used as card detects since the polarity can be specified with the usual GPIO_ACTIVE_(HIGH|LOW) GPIO flags. It has also caused confusion for U-Boot developers, so migrate all sunxi boards away from cd-inverted. LD01 is used for the RTC, and should have a typical value of 1.3V LD02 is used for AVCC and should have a typical value of 3.0V LD03/4 are used for Port-E/Port-G Power pin, and the schematics recommands to set them to 2.8V as they can be used for CSI0/1.
