2014-11-06ARM: nomadik: configure in STMPE supportLinus Walleij1-0/+3
This enables the STMPE MFD, GPIO and keypad support by default on the Nomadik builds. This expander is used on the NDK 15 board. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2014-11-06ARM: update Nomadik configLinus Walleij1-7/+1
This updates the Nomadik (NHK8815) defconfig to what saveconfig produces after some recent changes to Kconfig fragments here and there. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-07-20ARM: nomadik: configure for NO_HZ and HRTIMERSLinus Walleij1-0/+2
This enables tickless idle (NO_HZ_IDLE) and high resolution timers for the Nomadik. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-07-20ARM: nomadik: update defconfig baseLinus Walleij1-1/+1
Update the Nomadik defconfig enabling: - GPIO keyboard input - Regulators - LED class driver - LED heartbeat trigger Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-07-20ARM: nomadik: Update MMC defconfigsUlf Hansson1-1/+2
Enable MMC_UNSAFE_RESUME to accomplish a proper suspend/resume cycle for SD/SDIO/(e)MMC. ARMMMCI host driver supports clock gating through runtime PM, thus MMC_CLKGATE is not needed. Moreover ARMMMCI can do scatter-gather which means we can explicity disable MMC_BLOCK_BOUNCE, since it's default enabled, to skip unnecessary bounce buffer copying. 2013-05-26ARM: nomadik: add led and key for S8815Linus Walleij1-0/+6
This adds device tree hunks for the LED and userbutton on the USB S8815 board, and set up a heartbeat trigger on the LED and an escape key on the user button. Alter the defconfig to enable these standard DT-enabled GPIO drivers. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-03-07ARM: nomadik: convert to multiplatformLinus Walleij1-23/+19
This converts the Nomadik to run in multiplatform mode, including the defconfig change. After this the "uImage" target in the kernel tree will no longer work, but we do not care about this. Instead we generate the uImage from the zImage using mkimage or update the bootloader to accept bootz. Some minor updates to the defconfig are done as part of this. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2012-11-15ARM: nomadik: switch over to using the FSMC driverLinus Walleij1-1/+1
The Nomadik NAND driver is really just a subset of the existing FSMC driver, so let's switch over to using that driver instead, since it handles more variants of this chip. The callbacks for setting up the chip is doing stuff now handled by the FSMC driver. 2012-09-29defconfigs: remove CONFIG_MTD_NAND_VERIFY_WRITEHuang Shijie1-1/+0
CONFIG_MTD_NAND_VERIFY_WRITE was killed recently, so remove it from defconfigs as well. Signed-off-by: Huang Shijie <b32955@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Artem Bityutskiy <artem.bityutskiy@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <David.Woodhouse@intel.com>
2012-05-15ARM: nomadik: enable PINCTRL_NOMADIK where neededArnd Bergmann1-0/+1
The nomadik gpio code has been converted to pinctrl, but the nomadik platform still expects the old code to be present. Change it to use the new one instead. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Reviewed-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2011-01-20kconfig: rename CONFIG_EMBEDDED to CONFIG_EXPERTDavid Rientjes1-1/+1
The meaning of CONFIG_EMBEDDED has long since been obsoleted; the option is used to configure any non-standard kernel with a much larger scope than only small devices. This patch renames the option to CONFIG_EXPERT in init/Kconfig and fixes references to the option throughout the kernel. A new CONFIG_EMBEDDED option is added that automatically selects CONFIG_EXPERT when enabled and can be used in the future to isolate options that should only be considered for embedded systems (RISC architectures, SLOB, etc). Calling the option "EXPERT" more accurately represents its intention: only expert users who understand the impact of the configuration changes they are making should enable it. 2009-12-18ARM: Kill CONFIG_CPU_32Russell King1-1/+0
26-bit ARM support was removed a long time ago, and this symbol has been defined to be 'y' ever since. As it's never disabled anymore, we can kill it without any side effects. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
