2013-12-09ARM: imx: drop support for irq priorisationUwe Kleine-König1-25/+0
The code for irq priorisation support doesn't have any in-tree users and the Kconfig description does wrong promises because nowadays irq handlers are called with irqs disabled, so no high prioritized irq can interrupt a lower prioritized handler. Pull ARM SoC cleanup from Olof Johansson: "Here is a collection of cleanup patches. Among the pieces that stand out are: - The deletion of h720x platforms - Split of at91 non-dt platforms to their own Kconfig file to keep them separate - General cleanups and refactoring of i.MX and MXS platforms - Some restructuring of clock tables for OMAP - Convertion of PMC driver for Tegra to dt-only - Some renames of sunxi -> sun4i (Allwinner A10) - ... plus a bunch of other stuff that I haven't mentioned" * tag 'cleanup-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (119 commits) ARM: i.MX: remove unused ARCH_* configs ARM i.MX53: remove platform ahci support ARM: sunxi: Rework the restart code irqchip: sunxi: Rename sunxi to sun4i irqchip: sunxi: Make use of the IRQCHIP_DECLARE macro clocksource: sunxi: Rename sunxi to sun4i clocksource: sunxi: make use of CLKSRC_OF clocksource: sunxi: Cleanup the timer code ARM: at91: remove trailing semicolon from macros ARM: at91/setup: fix trivial typos ARM: EXYNOS: remove "config EXYNOS_DEV_DRM" ARM: EXYNOS: change the name of USB ohci header ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove unnecessary code for dma ARM: S3C24XX: Remove unused GPIO drive strength register definitions ARM: OMAP4+: PM: Restore CPU power state to ON with clockdomain force wakeup method ARM: S3C24XX: Removed unneeded dependency on CPU_S3C2412 ARM: S3C24XX: Removed unneeded dependency on CPU_S3C2410 ARM: S3C24XX: Removed unneeded dependency on ARCH_S3C24XX for boards ARM: SAMSUNG: Fix typo "CONFIG_SAMSUNG_DEV_RTC" ARM: S5P64X0: Fix typo "CONFIG_S5P64X0_SETUP_SDHCI" ...
2013-04-02ARM: imx: avic: Move avic_saved_mask_reg under CONFIG_PMFabio Estevam1-2/+2
When building a kernel with CONFIG_PM undefined, the following warning happens: arch/arm/mach-imx/avic.c:57:12: warning: 'avic_saved_mask_reg' defined but not used [-Wunused-variable] Move avic_saved_mask_reg definition inside the '#ifdef CONFIG_PM' block to avoid the warning. 2013-04-01ARM: mach-imx: avic: Staticize *avic_baseFabio Estevam1-1/+1
Fix the following sparse warning: arch/arm/mach-imx/avic.c:54:14: warning: symbol 'avic_base' was not declared. Should it be static? Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
2012-10-15ARM: imx: remove header file mach/irqs.hShawn Guo1-1/+0
The only mach/irqs.h user outside arch/arm/mach-imx is sound/soc/fsl/imx-pcm-fiq.c, which refers to mxc_set_irq_fiq(). Move the declaration into include/linux/platform_data/asoc-imx-ssi.h, so that we can remove mach/irqs.h includsion from imx-pcm-fiq.c. Inside arch/arm/mach-imx, the only users to mach/irqs.h are avic.c and tzic.c for referring to macro FIQ_START. Let's move the macro into irq-common.h and get rid of mach/irqs.h completely. 2012-10-15ARM: imx: include hardware.h rather than mach/hardware.hShawn Guo1-1/+1
It moves a bunch of header files included in hardware.h and itself from mach-imx/include/mach to mach-imx, and updates users to include hardware.h rather than mach/hardware.h. The files in mach-imx/devices will need to include "../hardware.h". 2012-10-15ARM: imx: include common.h rather than mach/common.hShawn Guo1-1/+1
Rename mach-imx/include/mach/common.h to mach-imx/common.h and update all users to include common.h rather than mach/common.h. It also removes an unneeded inclusion to common.h in mach-imx/devices/devices.c. 2012-10-15ARM: imx: merge plat-mxc into mach-imxShawn Guo1-0/+225
It's really unnecessary to have plat-mxc, and let's merge it into mach-imx. It's pretty much just a bunch of file renaming and Kconfig/Makefile merge. To make the change less invasive, we keep using Kconfig symbol CONFIG_ARCH_MXC for mach-imx sub-architecture.
