2018-04-18ARM: imx: pca100: use device properties for at24 eepromBartosz Golaszewski1-7/+6
We want to work towards phasing out the at24_platform_data structure. There are few users and its contents can be represented using generic device properties. Using device properties only will allow us to significantly simplify the at24 configuration code. Remove the at24_platform_data structure and replace it with an array of property entries. Specify the exact model instead of the "at24" wildcard and drop the byte_len/size property, as the model name already implies the EEPROM's size. 2016-09-20ARM: imx legacy: pca100: move peripheral initialization to .init_lateVladimir Zapolskiy1-11/+15
The change moves some of peripheral registrations and initializations (all peripherals dependent on GPIOs) from .init_machine to .init_late level, this allows to safely shift the shared GPIO controller driver initialization level after init level of i.MX IOMUXC driver. There are ulpi access ops implemented in drivers/usb/phy/phy-ulpi.c. mxc access ops implement the same access operations within mach-imx. This patch removes the mxc ulpi file and uses phy-ulpi instead for imx_otg_ulpi_create. phy-ulpi successfully tested with i.MX27 Phytec phyCARD-S (pca100). Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. The patch makes necessary changes on gpio-mxc as below to turn it into an upstanding gpio driver. * Add a list to save all mx2 ports references, so that mx2_gpio_irq_handler can walk through all interrupt status registers * Use readl/writel to replace mach-specific accessors __raw_readl/__raw_writel * Change mxc_gpio_init into mxc_gpio_probe function * Move "struct mxc_gpio_port" into gpio-mxc.c, as it needs not to be public at all, and also make some other cleanup on plat-mxc/include/mach/gpio.h at the same time And the patch then migrates mach-imx and mach-mx5 to the updated driver by adding corresponding platform devices.
