2011-05-23clocksource: ARM sp804: obtain sp804 timer rate via clksRussell King1-0/+7
This allows platforms to specify the rate of the SP804 clocksource via the clk subsystem. While ARM boards clock these at 1MHz, BCMRing also has SP804 timers but are clocked at different rates. 2011-05-20ARM: 6910/1: MTD: physmap: let set_vpp() pass a platform_device instead of a map_infoMarc Zyngier2-2/+2
The set_vpp() method provided by physmap passes a map_info back to the platform code, which has little relevance as far as the platform is concerned (this parameter is completely unused). Instead, pass the platform_device, which can be used in the pismo driver to retrieve some important information in a nicer way, instead of the hack that was in place. The empty set_vpp function in board-at572d940hf_ek.c is left untouched, as the board/SoC is scheduled for removal. This switches integrator platforms to use the consolidated CLCD panel support, including the display capabilities. These capabilities prevent the unsupported BGR565 mode being selected, while still allowing RGB5551, BGR5551 and RGB565 modes. 2011-02-19ARM: integrator: support CLCD RGB5551 layout for 16bppRussell King2-8/+10
When the CLCD is in anything but RGB888 mode, its outputs are configured for RGB5551 output. Integrator/CP supports RGB565 via an external multiplexer, which we configure for RGB5551 or RGB565 based only on the bits per pixel. So when userspace asks for the RGB555 layout, the mux remains in RGB565 mode, and we produce incorrect colours. Fix this. Note that Integrator doesn't support BGR565 mode, but does support BGR5551. 2010-10-20arm: return both physical and virtual addresses from addruartJeremy Kerr1-6/+4
Rather than checking the MMU status in every instance of addruart, do it once in kernel/debug.S, and change the existing addruart macros to return both physical and virtual addresses. The main debug code can then select the appropriate address to use. This will also allow us to retreive the address of a uart for the MMU state that we're not current in. VMALLOC_END is supposed to be an absolute value, while PAGE_OFFSET may vary depending on the selected user:kernel memory split mode through CONFIG_VMSPLIT_*. In fact, the goal of moving PAGE_OFFSET down is to accommodate more directly addressed RAM by the kernel below the vmalloc area, and having VMALLOC_END move along PAGE_OFFSET is rather against the very reason why PAGE_OFFSET can be moved in the first place.
