2006-10-06Initial blind fixup for arm for irq changesLinus Torvalds1-2/+2
Untested, but this should fix up the bulk of the totally mechanical issues, and should make the actual detail fixing easier. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-09-06[ARM] 3772/1: Fix compilation error in mach-ixp4xx/nslu2*Martin Michlmayr1-0/+1
Patch from Martin Michlmayr Include linux/irq.h in the nslu2 code in order to avoid the following compiler error: CC arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx/nslu2-power.o arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx/nslu2-power.c: In function 'nslu2_power_init': arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx/nslu2-power.c:53: warning: implicit declaration of function 'set_irq_type' arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx/nslu2-power.c:53: error: 'IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_LOW' undeclared (first use in this function) arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx/nslu2-power.c:53: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx/nslu2-power.c:53: error: for each function it appears in.) arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx/nslu2-power.c:54: error: 'IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH' undeclared (first use in this function) make[5]: *** [arch/arm/mach-ixp4xx/nslu2-power.o] Error 1 Signed-off-by: Martin Michlmayr <tbm@cyrius.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-07-02[PATCH] ARM: fixup irqflags breakage after ARM genirq mergeThomas Gleixner1-2/+2
The irgflags consolidation did conflict with the ARM to generic IRQ conversion and was not applied for ARM. Fix it up. Use the new IRQF_ constants and remove the SA_INTERRUPT define Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-06-25[PATCH] kernel/sys.c: cleanupsAdrian Bunk1-2/+1
- proper prototypes for the following functions: - ctrl_alt_del() (in include/linux/reboot.h) - getrusage() (in include/linux/resource.h) - make the following needlessly global functions static: - kernel_restart_prepare() - kernel_kexec() [akpm@osdl.org: compile fix] Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@stusta.de> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-02-22[ARM] 3342/1: NSLU2: Protect power button init routine with machine_is_nslu2()Alessandro Zummo1-0/+3
Patch from Alessandro Zummo The power button exit routine for the Linksys NSLU2 was not protected by a machine_is_nslu2(). This patch fixes it. 2006-01-04[ARM] 3192/1: Remove gpio_isr_line_clear() API from IXP4xxDeepak Saxena1-3/+0
Patch from Deepak Saxena Other than interrupt masking purposes, this API is only used when configuring interrupt lines and this patch moves that functionality directly into the ixp4xx_set_irq_type() implementation as board level PCI code should not need to worry about those details. 2005-11-10[ARM] 3140/1: NSLU2 machine supportAlessandro Zummo1-0/+92
Patch from Alessandro Zummo This patch adds support for the LinkSys NSLU2 running with both big and little-endian kernels. The LinkSys NSLU2 is a cost engineered ARM, XScale 420 based system similar to the the Intel IXDP425 evaluation board. It uses the IXP4XX ARCH. While this patch applies independently of other patches the resultant kernel requires further patches to successfully use onboard devices, including the onboard flash. Since these patches are independent of this one they will be submitted separately. A defconfig is not included here because not all of the required drivers are actually in the kernel. We intend to provide one as soon as the patches will be incorporated in mainstream. This patch is the combined work of nslu2-linux.org Signed-off-by: John Bowler <jbowler@acm.org> Signed-off-by: Alessandro Zummo <a.zummo@towertech.it> Signed-off-by: Deepak Saxena <dsaxena@plexity.net> Signed-off-by: Lennert Buytenhek <buytenh@wantstofly.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
