2015-12-01ARM: pxa: make more mach/*.h files localArnd Bergmann1-2/+2
Lots of header files are never included outside of a mach-pxa directory and do not need to be made visible in include/mach, so let's just move them all down one level. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2015-07-16ARM: pxa: fix dm9000 platform data regressionRobert Jarzmik1-0/+3
Since dm9000 driver added support for a vcc regulator, platform data based platforms have their ethernet broken, as the regulator claiming returns -EPROBE_DEFER and prevents dm9000 loading. This patch fixes this for all pxa boards using dm9000, by using the specific regulator_has_full_constraints() function. This was discovered and tested on the cm-x300 board. Fixes: 7994fe55a4a2 ("dm9000: Add regulator and reset support to dm9000") Signed-off-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Acked-by: Igor Grinberg <grinberg@compulab.co.il>
2012-12-24ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren1-2/+2
Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. Tested-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>
2012-01-25ARM: pxa: remove NR_IRQSRob Herring1-0/+2
Remove NR_IRQS and add a per machine .nr_irqs setting. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com>
2012-01-09Merge branch 'samsung/driver' into next/driversArnd Bergmann1-0/+2
Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-mxs/include/mach/common.h Pull in previous samsung conflict merges and do a trivial merge of an mxs double-add conflict. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2012-01-05ARM: restart: pxa: use new restart hookRussell King1-0/+2
Hook these platforms restart code into the new restart hook rather than using arch_reset(). Acked-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2011-11-14ARM: pxa: rename gpio_to_irq and irq_to_gpioHaojian Zhuang1-3/+3
Avoid to define gpio_to_irq() and irq_to_gpio() for potential name confliction since multiple architecture will be built together. Signed-off-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@marvell.com>
2011-10-31arm: Add moduleparam.h to arch/arm files as requiredPaul Gortmaker1-0/+1
Things like module_param and core_param come from the header moduleparam.h -- these files were relying on the fact that module.h is implicitly present everywhere and it in turn includes the moduleparam header. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>

2011-04-24ARM / PXA: Use struct syscore_ops for "core" power managementRafael J. Wysocki1-1/+0
Replace sysdev classes and struct sys_device objects used for "core" power management by the PXA platform code with struct syscore_ops objects that are simpler. This reduces the code size and the kernel memory footprint. It also is necessary for removing sysdevs entirely from the kernel in the future. Signed-off-by: Rafael J. Wysocki <rjw@sisk.pl> Acked-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2010-12-20ARM: pxa: Rename Colibri evalboardMarek Vasut1-3/+3
Rename colibri-pxa270-evalboard to colibri-evalboard as this board is used with all Colibri modules. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marek.vasut@gmail.com> Acked-by: Daniel Mack <daniel@caiaq.de> Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.y.miao@gmail.com>

2010-12-20ARM: pxa: Push Colibri evalboard MFP into module filesMarek Vasut1-0/+96
This change -- pushing the MFP configuration back into Module files -- is necessary because some evalboards can be used with multiple modules, where MFP differs from module to module. Therefore MFP isn't board-specific, but module-specific and the module should preconfigure itself for the board. (And there is also the C preprocesor limitation and conflicting #define-s) Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marek.vasut@gmail.com> Acked-by: Daniel Mack <daniel@caiaq.de> Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.y.miao@gmail.com>
2010-12-16ARM: pxa: Introduce pxa{25x,27x,3xx}_map_io()Marek Vasut1-2/+2
This patch introduces pxa2xx_map_io() and pxa3xx_map_io() to distinguish between PXA25x/PXA27x and PXA3xx memory mapping. Also, fixup for platforms broken after introducing pxa{25x,27x}_map_io() and pxa3xx_map_io() is included. 2010-10-20arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre1-4/+0
Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>

2010-06-18[ARM] pxa/colibri270: Split module and base board codeDaniel Mack1-87/+20
Follow the idea of several MX31 based boards and split code that is related to the module from code that is baseboard specific. This makes adding new base board support easier, while avoiding code duplication. 2009-12-01[ARM] pxa: allow platforms to control which uarts are registeredRussell King1-0/+3
For some platforms, it is inappropriate to register all PXA UARTs. In some cases, the UARTs may not be used, and in others we may want to avoid registering the UARTs to allow other drivers (eg, FICP) to make use of the UART. In addition, a while back there was a request to be able to pass platform data to the UART driver. This patch enables all of this by providing functions platforms can call to register each individual UART.
