2007-07-20[ARM] rpc: convert an outb() to writeb()Russell King1-1/+1
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-05-03[ARM] Add platform support for PATA on RiscPCRussell King1-0/+35
Add pata_platform device for RiscPC, thereby converting the primary IDE channel on the machine to PATA. Acked-by: Jeff Garzik <jeff@garzik.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-11-30[ARM] Remove compatibility layer for ARM irqsRussell King1-7/+7
set_irq_chipdata -> set_irq_chip_data get_irq_chipdata -> get_irq_chip_data do_level_IRQ -> handle_level_irq do_edge_IRQ -> handle_edge_irq do_simple_IRQ -> handle_simple_irq irqdesc -> irq_desc irqchip -> irq_chip Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-10-06Initial blind fixup for arm for irq changesLinus Torvalds1-1/+1
Untested, but this should fix up the bulk of the totally mechanical issues, and should make the actual detail fixing easier. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-07-02[PATCH] ARM: fixup irqflags breakage after ARM genirq mergeThomas Gleixner1-1/+1
The irgflags consolidation did conflict with the ARM to generic IRQ conversion and was not applied for ARM. Fix it up. Use the new IRQF_ constants and remove the SA_INTERRUPT define Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-01-13[ARM] 3260/1: remove phys_ram from struct machine_desc (part 2)Nicolas Pitre1-1/+0
Patch from Nicolas Pitre This field is redundent since it must be equal to PHYS_OFFSET anyway. Now that no code uses it anymore, mark it deprecated and remove all initializations from the tree. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-04[ARM] Remove '__address' from scatterlist and convert to DMA APIRussell King1-8/+11
The old __address element in struct scatterlist remained from older kernels because the ARM DMA emulation code made use of it. Move this field into struct dma_struct, and convert DMA emulation code to setup a SG entry as required. Also, convert DMA emulation code to use the new DMA API rather than the PCI DMA API. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-10-28[ARM] 2989/1: Replace map_desc.physical with map_desc.pfn: RiscPCDeepak Saxena1-3/+16
Patch from Deepak Saxena RiscPC map_desc.pfn conversion Signed-off-by: Deepak Saxena <dsaxena@plexity.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-08[SERIAL] Use an enum for serial8250 platform device IDsRussell King1-1/+1
Rather than hard-coding the platform device IDs, enumerate them. We don't particularly care about the actual ID we get, just as long as they're unique. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-07-03[PATCH] ARM: Remove machine description macrosRussell King1-7/+9
Remove the pointless machine description macros, favouring C99 initialisers instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-06-22[PATCH] ARM: Allow riscpc to parse "acorn" boot info tagRussell King1-6/+1
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-04-16Linux-2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds5-0/+694
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
