2009-12-01ARM: S3C: Update Simtec copyright statements from , to - [2]Ben Dooks1-1/+1
There are a number of statements of the form A, B or A, B, C where the numbers A,B,C are not consecutive. However, referencing [1] it is the correct thing to replace these with A-B or A-C as apropriate. 2009-12-01ARM: S3C: Fix Simtec copyright statements in Documentation/S3C24XXBen Dooks1-2/+2
The (c) alone is not a sufficient copyright statement, nor is it a good replacement for the proper encircled © symbol [1]. Add the word copyright to the apropriate places and remove the (c) symbol. [1] http://www.copyrightservice.co.uk/copyright/p03_copyright_notices section 4 'What does a notice consist of?' 2008-10-09[ARM] 5298/1: Drop desc_handle_irq()Dmitry Baryshkov1-2/+1
desc_handle_irq() was declared as obsolete since long ago. Replace it with generic_handle_irq() Signed-off-by: Dmitry Baryshkov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-10-07[ARM] S3C24XX: Move files out of include/asm-arm/plat-s3c*Ben Dooks1-1/+1
First move of items out of include/asm-arm/plat-s3c* to their new homes under arch/arm/plat-s3c/include/plat and arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx/include/plat directories. Note, we have to create a dummy arch/arm/plat-s3c/Makefile to allow us to add arch/arm/plat-s3c/include/plat to the path. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-09-06[ARM] Convert asm/io.h to linux/io.hRussell King1-1/+1
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King1-4/+4
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King1-1/+1
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-04-21[ARM] Remove needless linux/ptrace.h includesRussell King1-1/+0
Lots of places in arch/arm were needlessly including linux/ptrace.h, resumably because we used to pass a struct pt_regs to interrupt handlers. Now that we don't, all these ptrace.h includes are redundant. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-02-11[ARM] 4157/2: S3C24XX: move arch/arch/mach-s3c2410 into cpu componentsBen Dooks1-1/+1
The following patch and script moves the arch/arm/mach-s3c2410 directory into arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx for the generic core code and inti arch/arm/mach-s3c{cpu} for the cpu/machine support files Include directory include/asm-arm/plat-s3c24xx is added for the core include files. 2006-10-06Initial blind fixup for arm for irq changesLinus Torvalds1-3/+2
Untested, but this should fix up the bulk of the totally mechanical issues, and should make the actual detail fixing easier. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-09-25[ARM] 3843/1: S3C24XX: Remove modfication lines from commentsBen Dooks1-4/+0

2006-07-01[ARM] 3699/1: ARM: Convert s3c2410 to generic irq handlingThomas Gleixner1-3/+3
Patch from Thomas Gleixner From: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Fixup the conversion to generic irq subsystem. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-07[ARM] 2884/1: BAST - fix PC104 IRQ routingBen Dooks1-18/+59
Patch from Ben Dooks This has been broken for a while now, so fix the problems with the code, test and bring up to date. This also makes the code conditional on an Kconfig option Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-04[ARM] Wrap calls to descriptor handlersRussell King1-1/+1
This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we wrap calls to desc->handler() in an inline function, desc_handle_irq(). This reduces the size of Thomas' patch since the changes become more localised. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-04-16Linux-2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds1-0/+132
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
