Commit 875a59374cd10200ac24f03877ccd8f73af590cc ("ARM: SAMSUNG: Consolidation of SPI platform devices to plat-samsung") deleted all (four) files that included one of the "spi-clocks.h" headers. Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes, and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function no longer does anything useful. For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and plat-samsung system-reset.h files are no longer referenced, so remove these files entirely. 2011-12-23ARM: SAMSUNG: Move timer irq numbers to end of linux irq spaceThomas Abraham1-0/+2
The timer irqs statically mapped from linux irq numbers 11 to 15 are moved to the end of the statically mapped linux irq space. The GIC PPI and SPI interrupts are relocated to start from 16 and 32 of the linux irq space. This is a required to add device tree support for GIC and Interrupt combiner for EXYNOS4. A new macro 'IRQ_TIMER_BASE' specifies a platform specific base of the linux virq number for the timer interrupts. For exynos4, this base is set to end of the linux virq space. Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will allow for much needed cleanups. This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument to the macro but no one is using it yet. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: make trivial GPIOLIB implementation the defaultRussell King1-2/+0
Rather than marking the mach/gpio.h header files which want to use the trivial GPIOLIB implementation, mark those which do not want to use it instead. This means that by default, you get the trivial implementation and only have to do something extra if you need to. This should encourage the use of the trivial default implementation. As an additional bonus, several gpio.h header files become empty. To be able to relocate the .bss section at run time independently from the rest of the code, we must make sure that no GOTOFF relocations are used with .bss symbols. This usually means that no global variables can be marked static unless they're also const. Let's remove the static qualifier from current offenders, or turn them into const variables when possible. Next commit will ensure the build fails if one of those is reintroduced due to otherwise enforced coding standards for the kernel. This is necessary as the GPIO lines from 0 to 13 are reserved and only lines 14 and 15 are used. As during initialization, the line number starts at 0, putting 2 does not solve the intended purpose.
