2011-12-08ARM: S5PV210: Set 1000ns as PWM backlight period on SMDKV210Jingoo Han1-0/+1
The SMDK board uses LT3591 as backlight LED driver of LTE480WV LCD. According to the LT3591 datasheet, the switching frequency should be 1MHz. So, PWM period is calculated by following formula: PWM period = 1/switching frequency = 1/1MHz = 1000ns Thus, the PWM backlight period should be 1000ns. Boards used to specify zreladdr in their Makefile.boot with zreladdr-y := x, so conflicting zreladdrs were silently overwritten. This patch changes this to zreladdr-y += x, so that we end up with multiple words in zreladdr in such a case. We can detect this later and complain if necessary. Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will allow for much needed cleanups. This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument to the macro but no one is using it yet. 2011-08-18ARM: S5PV210: use dma-pl330 device name for clockVladimir Zapolskiy1-2/+2
This change replaces s3c-pl330.x clock device names with dma-pl330.x, otherwise there won't be a correspondence between clock device name and amba device name, thus clocks can't be enabled. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: make trivial GPIOLIB implementation the defaultRussell King1-2/+0
Rather than marking the mach/gpio.h header files which want to use the trivial GPIOLIB implementation, mark those which do not want to use it instead. This means that by default, you get the trivial implementation and only have to do something extra if you need to. This should encourage the use of the trivial default implementation. As an additional bonus, several gpio.h header files become empty. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: consolidate gpio_to_irqRussell King1-1/+0
Many of the gpio_to_irq implementations use the gpiolib version of this function. Provide the standard gpiolib gpio_to_irq() for everyone, but allow platforms to override it if they wish.
