2017-04-14MIPS: clockevent drivers: Set ->min_delta_ticks and ->max_delta_ticksNicolai Stange1-0/+2
In preparation for making the clockevents core NTP correction aware, all clockevent device drivers must set ->min_delta_ticks and ->max_delta_ticks rather than ->min_delta_ns and ->max_delta_ns: a clockevent device's rate is going to change dynamically and thus, the ratio of ns to ticks ceases to stay invariant. Make the MIPS arch's clockevent drivers initialize these fields properly. This patch alone doesn't introduce any change in functionality as the clockevents core still looks exclusively at the (untouched) ->min_delta_ns and ->max_delta_ns. As soon as this has changed, a followup patch will purge the initialization of ->min_delta_ns and ->max_delta_ns from these drivers. 2015-09-03MIPS: cevt-gt641xx: Migrate to new 'set-state' interfaceViresh Kumar1-18/+39
Migrate cevt-gt641xx driver to the new 'set-state' interface provided by clockevents core, the earlier 'set-mode' interface is marked obsolete now. This also enables us to implement callbacks for new states of clockevent devices, for example: ONESHOT_STOPPED. 2013-02-01MIPS: Whitespace cleanup.Ralf Baechle1-2/+2
Having received another series of whitespace patches I decided to do this once and for all rather than dealing with this kind of patches trickling in forever. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2011-12-07MIPS: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLEDYong Zhang1-1/+1
Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. 2010-10-07MIPS: Add missing #inclusions of <linux/irq.h>David Howells1-0/+1
Add missing #inclusions of <linux/irq.h> to a whole bunch of files that should really include it. Note that this can replace #inclusions of <asm/irq.h>. This is required for the patch to sort out irqflags handling function naming to compile on MIPS. The problem is that these files require access to things like setup_irq() - which isn't available by #including <linux/interrupt.h> Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Acked-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>

2008-12-13cpumask: convert struct clock_event_device to cpumask pointers.Rusty Russell1-1/+1
Impact: change calling convention of existing clock_event APIs struct clock_event_timer's cpumask field gets changed to take pointer, as does the ->broadcast function. Another single-patch change. For safety, we BUG_ON() in clockevents_register_device() if it's not set. Signed-off-by: Rusty Russell <rusty@rustcorp.com.au> Cc: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>
