The following flags are only used on x86, but they got copied to FR-V, MN10300, and SuperH: PCI_PROBE_BIOS PCI_PROBE_CONF1 PCI_PROBE_CONF2 PCI_ASSIGN_ROMS PCI_NO_CHECKS PCI_BIOS_IRQ_SCAN PCI_ASSIGN_ALL_BUSSES FR-V and MN10300 do test for PCI_ASSIGN_ROMS, but they never set it, so it's dead code. 2015-01-16mn10300/PCI: Clip bridge windows to fit in upstream windowsYinghai Lu1-1/+1
Every PCI-PCI bridge window should fit inside an upstream bridge window because orphaned address space is unreachable from the primary side of the upstream bridge. If we inherit invalid bridge windows that overlap an upstream window from firmware, clip them to fit and update the bridge accordingly. 2012-01-06PCI: Pull PCI 'latency timer' setup up into the coreMyron Stowe1-6/+0
The 'latency timer' of PCI devices, both Type 0 and Type 1, is setup in architecture-specific code [see: 'pcibios_set_master()']. There are two approaches being taken by all the architectures - check if the 'latency timer' is currently set between 16 and 255 and if not bring it within bounds, or, do nothing (and then there is the gratuitously different PA-RISC implementation). There is nothing architecture-specific about PCI's 'latency timer' so this patch pulls its setup functionality up into the PCI core by creating a generic 'pcibios_set_master()' function using the '__weak' attribute which can be used by all architectures as a default which, if necessary, can then be over-ridden by architecture-specific code. 2010-06-11PCI: clear bridge resource range if BIOS assigned bad oneYinghai Lu1-0/+1
Yannick found that video does not work with 2.6.34. The cause of this bug was that the BIOS had assigned the wrong range to the PCI bridge above the video device. Before 2.6.34 the kernel would have shrunk the size of the bridge window, but since d65245c PCI: don't shrink bridge resources the kernel will avoid shrinking BIOS ranges. So zero out the old range if we fail to claim it at boot time; this will cause us to allocate a new range at startup, restoring the 2.6.34 behavior. 2008-02-08mn10300: add the MN10300/AM33 architecture to the kernelDavid Howells1-0/+303
Add architecture support for the MN10300/AM33 CPUs produced by MEI to the kernel. This patch also adds board support for the ASB2303 with the ASB2308 daughter board, and the ASB2305. The only processor supported is the MN103E010, which is an AM33v2 core plus on-chip devices.
