2013-02-11powerpc/5200: Use the gpt* labels to simplify mpc5200 dts filesGrant Likely1-11/+3
The DTC labels feature allows a dts file to reference a node without having to reproduce the entire node hierarchy above it. We can use this to simplify the MPC5200 board dts files by referencing the gpt nodes by label. 2011-09-22powerpc/5200: dts: digsy_mtc.dts: enable both MSCAN nodesAnatolij Gustschin1-8/+0
We use both MSCAN controllers on this board, so do not disable them in the device tree. Signed-off-by: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de>
2011-09-22powerpc/5200: dts: digsy_mtc.dts: add timer0 and timer1 gpio propertiesAnatolij Gustschin1-0/+7
timer0 and timer1 pins are used as simple GPIO on this board. Add gpio-controller and #gpio-cells properties to timer nodes so that we can control gpio lines using available MPC52xx GPT driver. Signed-off-by: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de>
2011-09-22powerpc/5200: dts: digsy_mtc.dts: update to add can, pci, serial and spiAnatolij Gustschin1-3/+47
Add new nodes to describe more hardware the board is equipped with: - two can nodes for SJA1000 on localbus - pci node to support Coral-PA graphics controller - serial node for SC28L92 DUART on localbus - spi node for MSP430 device Also correct i2c eeprom node name. 2011-01-03powerpc/5200: dts: refactor dts filesJohn Bonesio1-150/+23
This patch creates mpc5200b.dtsi containing the information for the MPC5200b SoC then modifies all of the dts files for MPC5200b based systems to use mpc5200b.dtsi. Signed-off-by: John Bonesio <bones@secretlab.ca> Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
2011-01-03powerpc/5200: dts: Change combatible strings on localbusJohn Bonesio1-1/+1
This patch changes some incorrect compatible strings on the local plus bus node in dts files for MPC5200b based systems. Signed-off-by: John Bonesio <bones@secretlab.ca> Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
2011-01-03powerpc/5200: dts: rename nodes to prepare for refactoring dts filesJohn Bonesio1-3/+3
This patch renames nodes in dts fils for MPC5200b files to prepare for refactoring of these files later. When refactoring it will be easier to verify the results if the node names aren't changing at the same time. 2009-10-15powerpc/boot/dts: drop obsolete 'fsl5200-clocking'Wolfram Sang1-1/+0
The 'fsl5200-clocking'-property was dropped since 0d1cde235874b00905bce23f659690d060ebf475. Remove all occurences in dts-files. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <w.sang@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
2009-02-26powerpc/5200: On the digsy-mtc, configure PSC4 and PSC5 as UARTsGrzegorz Bernacki1-6/+6
On digsy MTC PSC4 and PSC5 should be configured as UART, not PSC3 and PSC4. Signed-off-by: Grzegorz Bernacki <gjb@semihalf.com> Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
