2012-08-21workqueue: make deferrable delayed_work initializer names consistentTejun Heo1-1/+1
Initalizers for deferrable delayed_work are confused. * __DEFERRED_WORK_INITIALIZER() * DECLARE_DEFERRED_WORK() * INIT_DELAYED_WORK_DEFERRABLE() Rename them to * __DEFERRABLE_WORK_INITIALIZER() * DECLARE_DEFERRABLE_WORK() * INIT_DEFERRABLE_WORK() This patch doesn't cause any functional changes. 2011-10-31powerpc: Fix up modules that should be including module.hPaul Gortmaker1-0/+1
So that we can clean up the header files and not be relying on implicit includes from device.h ---> module.h Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
2011-07-26atomic: use <linux/atomic.h>Arun Sharma1-1/+1
This allows us to move duplicated code in <asm/atomic.h> (atomic_inc_not_zero() for now) to <linux/atomic.h> Signed-off-by: Arun Sharma <asharma@fb.com> Reviewed-by: Eric Dumazet <eric.dumazet@gmail.com> Cc: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Cc: David Miller <davem@davemloft.net> Cc: Eric Dumazet <eric.dumazet@gmail.com> Acked-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2011-01-21powerpc/cell: Use system_wq in cpufreq_spudemandTejun Heo1-17/+3
With cmwq, there's no reason to use a separate workqueue in cpufreq_spudemand. Use system_wq instead. The work items are already sync canceled on stop, so it's already guaranteed that no work is running when spu_gov_exit() is entered. 2009-01-11powerpc: Fix cpufreq drivers after cpufreq core changesBenjamin Herrenschmidt1-2/+2
This updates the cpufreq drivers in arch/powerpc so they build again after the core cpufreq changes that broke them in commit in835481d9bcd65720b473db6b38746a74a3964218. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2008-07-22powerpc/cell/cpufreq: Add spu aware cpufreq governorChristian Krafft1-0/+184
This patch adds a cpufreq governor that takes the number of running spus into account. It's very similar to the ondemand governor, but not as complex. Instead of hacking spu load into the ondemand governor it might be easier to have cpufreq accepting multiple governors per cpu in future. Don't know if this is the right way, but it would keep the governors simple.
