2011-10-31powerpc: various straight conversions from module.h --> export.hPaul Gortmaker1-1/+1
All these files were including module.h just for the basic EXPORT_SYMBOL infrastructure. We can shift them off to the export.h header which is a way smaller footprint and thus realize some compile time gains. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
2009-06-21Move FAULT_FLAG_xyz into handle_mm_fault() callersLinus Torvalds1-1/+1
This allows the callers to now pass down the full set of FAULT_FLAG_xyz flags to handle_mm_fault(). All callers have been (mechanically) converted to the new calling convention, there's almost certainly room for architectures to clean up their code and then add FAULT_FLAG_RETRY when that support is added. 2009-02-23powerpc/spufs: Use correct return value for spu_handle_mm_faultJeremy Kerr1-26/+22
Currently, spu_handle_mm_fault disregards the 'ret' variable and always returns -EFAULT on error. This change refactos spu_handle_mm_fault a little, to return the ret variable as appropriate. This allows us to combine the error and sucess paths. Also, remove the #if-0-ed IS_VALID_EA() check, it has never been used. 2007-12-21[POWERPC] spufs: move fault, lscsa_alloc and switch code to spufs moduleJeremy Kerr1-0/+98
Currently, part of the spufs code (switch.o, lscsa_alloc.o and fault.o) is compiled directly into the kernel. This change moves these components of spufs into the kernel. The lscsa and switch objects are fairly straightforward to move in. For the fault.o module, we split the fault-handling code into two parts: a/p/p/c/spu_fault.c and a/p/p/c/spufs/fault.c. The former is for the in-kernel spu_handle_mm_fault function, and we move the rest of the fault-handling code into spufs.
