2005-09-05[PATCH] cpm_uart: Fix 2nd serial port on MPC8560 ADSKumar Gala1-111/+162
The 2nd serial port on the MPC8560 ADS was not being configured correctly and thus could not be used as a console. Updated the defconfig for the board to configure the proper SCC channel for the 2nd serial port. 2005-07-27[PATCH] ppc32: Make the UARTs on MPC824x individual platform devicesKumar Gala1-1/+1
The UARTs on the MPC824x are unique devices and really shouldn't be thought of as a DUART. In addition, if both UARTs are in use we need to configure the part to enable the 2nd UART since the pins for the UARTs are multiplexed. Adds support to run the 824x Sandpoint with both UARTs if desired. 2005-07-05[PATCH] ppc32: add Freescale MPC885ADS board supportAndrei Konovalov2-0/+1255
This patch adds the Freescale MPC86xADS board support. The supported devices are SMC UART and 10Mbit ethernet on SCC1. The manual for the board says that it "is compatible with the MPC8xxFADS for software point of view". That's why this patch extends FADS instead of introducing a new platform. FEC is not supported as the "combined FCC/FEC ethernet driver" driver by Pantelis Antoniou should replace the current FEC driver. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
