2006-03-27[PATCH] ppc32: Reorganize and complete MPC52xx initial cpu setupSylvain Munaut1-28/+10
ppc32: Reorganize and complete MPC52xx initial cpu setup This patch splits up the CPU setup into a generic part and a platform specific part. We also add a few missing init at the same time. Signed-off-by: Sylvain Munaut <tnt@246tNt.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
2006-03-27[PATCH] ppc32: Adds support for the LITE5200B dev boardSylvain Munaut1-3/+30
ppc32: Adds support for the LITE5200B dev board This LITE5200B devboard is the new development board for the Freescale MPC5200 processor. It has two PCI slots and so a different PCI IRQ routing. 2006-02-10[PATCH] powerpc: trivial: modify comments to refer to new location of filesJon Mason1-2/+0
This patch removes all self references and fixes references to files in the now defunct arch/ppc64 tree. I think this accomplises everything wanted, though there might be a few references I missed. Signed-off-by: Jon Mason <jdmason@us.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
2006-01-06[PATCH] ppc32: Allows compilation of a MPC52xx kernel without PCISylvain Munaut1-0/+2
Some custom cards might not need PCI, without this patch, compilation fails. Signed-off-by: Roger Blofeld <blofeldus@yahoo.com> Signed-off-by: Sylvain Munaut <tnt@246tNt.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2005-10-11ppc: Various minor compile fixesPaul Mackerras1-0/+1
This fixes up a variety of minor problems in compiling with ARCH=ppc arising from using the merged versions of various header files. A lot of the changes are just adding #include <asm/machdep.h> to files that use ppc_md or smp_ops_t. This also arranges for us to use semaphore.c, vecemu.c, vector.S and fpu.S from arch/powerpc/kernel when compiling with ARCH=ppc. Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
