2010-02-10x86: Only call dma32_reserve_bootmem 64bit !CONFIG_NUMAYinghai Lu1-2/+0
64bit NUMA already make enough space under 4G with new early_node_mem. Signed-off-by: Yinghai Lu <yinghai@kernel.org> LKML-Reference: <1265793639-15071-16-git-send-email-yinghai@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: H. Peter Anvin <hpa@zytor.com>
2009-04-03x86/dma: unify definition of pci_unmap_addr* and pci_unmap_len macrosJoerg Roedel1-22/+0
Impact: unification of pci-dma macros and pci_32.h removal This patch unifies the definition of the pci_unmap_addr*, pci_unmap_len* and DECLARE_PCI_UNMAP* macros. This makes sense because the pci_unmap functions are no longer no-ops anymore when the kernel runs with CONFIG_DMA_API_DEBUG. Without an iommu or DMA_API_DEBUG it is a no-op on 32 bit because the dma mapping path returns a physical address and therefore the dma-api implementation has no internal state which needs to be destroyed with an unmap call. This unification also simplifies the port of x86_64 iommu drivers to 32 bit x86 and let us get rid of pci_32.h. 2008-12-17x86: unify pci iommu setup and allow swiotlb to compile for 32 bitJeremy Fitzhardinge1-1/+0
swiotlb on 32 bit will be used by Xen domain 0 support. Signed-off-by: Ian Campbell <ian.campbell@citrix.com> Signed-off-by: Jeremy Fitzhardinge <jeremy.fitzhardinge@citrix.com> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>
2008-11-27x86: always define DECLARE_PCI_UNMAP* macrosJoerg Roedel1-14/+0
Impact: fix boot crash on AMD IOMMU if CONFIG_GART_IOMMU is off Currently these macros evaluate to a no-op except the kernel is compiled with GART or Calgary support. But we also need these macros when we have SWIOTLB, VT-d or AMD IOMMU in the kernel. Since we always compile at least with SWIOTLB we can define these macros always. This patch is also for stable backport for the same reason the SWIOTLB default selection patch is. 2008-10-22x86: Fix ASM_X86__ header guardsH. Peter Anvin1-3/+3
Change header guards named "ASM_X86__*" to "_ASM_X86_*" since: a. the double underscore is ugly and pointless. b. no leading underscore violates namespace constraints. Signed-off-by: H. Peter Anvin <hpa@zytor.com>
