Support for graceful handling of sleep states (S3/S4/S5) after an Intel(R) TXT launch. Without this patch, attempting to place the system in one of the ACPI sleep states (S3/S4/S5) will cause the TXT hardware to treat this as an attack and will cause a system reset, with memory locked. Not only may the subsequent memory scrub take some time, but the platform will be unable to enter the requested power state. 2009-03-26ACPICA: Optimize ACPI register lockingBob Moore1-1/+1
Removed locking for reads from the ACPI bit registers in PM1 Status, Enable, Control, and PM2 Control. The lock is not required when reading the single-bit registers. The acpi_get_register_unlocked function is no longer needed and has been removed. This will improve performance for reads on these registers. 2009-03-26ACPICA: Add function to handle PM1 control registersBob Moore1-49/+35
Added acpi_hw_write_pm1_control. This function writes both of the PM1 control registers (A/B). These registers are different than than the PM1 A/B status and enable registers in that different values can be written to the A/B registers. Most notably, the SLP_TYP bits can be different, as per the values returned from the _Sx predefined methods.
