2006-02-01[PATCH] s390: hangcheck timer supportJan Glauber1-11/+1
Remove useless s390 define from hangcheck-timer, remove wrong definition of a TOD second and other s390 ifdefs. Use monotonic_clock instead. Add hangcheck-timer option, copied from drivers/char/Kconfig. This is ugly but unless we have a big Kconfig cleanup we cannot include drivers/char/Kconfig... 2006-01-06[PATCH] s390: cleanup KconfigMartin Schwidefsky1-1/+1
Sanitize some s390 Kconfig options. We have ARCH_S390, ARCH_S390X, ARCH_S390_31, 64BIT, S390_SUPPORT and COMPAT. Replace these 6 options by S390, 64BIT and COMPAT. 2005-10-30[PATCH] CONFIG_IA32Brian Gerst1-1/+1
Add CONFIG_X86_32 for i386. This allows selecting options that only apply to 32-bit systems. (X86 && !X86_64) becomes X86_32 (X86 || X86_64) becomes X86 Signed-off-by: Brian Gerst <bgerst@didntduck.org> Cc: Sam Ravnborg <sam@ravnborg.org> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

2005-07-26[PATCH] In hangcheck-timer.c call emergency_restart()Eric W. Biederman1-1/+1
If we've hung a clean reboot does not sound like a real option. Signed-off-by: Eric W. Biederman <ebiederm@xmission.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2005-05-01[PATCH] hangcheck-timer: Update to 0.9.0.Joel Becker1-9/+95
I recently realized that the in-kernel copy of hangcheck-timer was quite stale. Here's the latest. It adds support for s390, ppc64, and ia64 too. Signed-off-by: Joel Becker <joel.becker@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
