2017-09-07clk: samsung: exynos-audss: Add support for runtime PMMarek Szyprowski1-17/+34
This patch adds support for runtime PM to Exynos Audio SubSystem driver to enable full support for audio power domain on Exynos5 SoCs. The main change is moving register saving and restoring code from system sleep PM ops to runtime PM ops and implementing system sleep PM ops with generic pm_runtime_force_suspend/resume helpers. Runtime PM of the Exynos AudSS device is managed from clock core depending on the preparation status of the provided clocks. 2017-08-09clk: samsung: Add CLK_SET_RATE_PARENT to some AUDSS CLK CON clocksSylwester Nawrocki1-4/+4
This allows clk rate propagation up to the clock tree so EPLL can be reprogrammed indirectly when setting rate of the Audio Subsystem clocks. The advantage is that sound machine driver can operate only on the leaf clocks rather than explicitly re-configuring the root clock (EPLL). Signed-off-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com>
2017-06-22clk: samsung: audss: Fix silent hang on Exynos4412 due to disabled EPLLKrzysztof Kozlowski1-0/+1
Similarly to commit f1e9203e2366 ("clk: samsung: Fix Exynos 5420 pinctrl setup and clock disable failure due to domain being gated") for Exynos5420, the Exynos4412 also requires that EPLL is not disabled. Otherwise any access to MAUDIO block will silently halt. This was not visible before because EPLL on Exynos4 could not be disabled before commit 6edfa11cb396 ("clk: samsung: Add enable/disable operation for PLL36XX clocks"). 2014-12-17clk: samsung: Fix Exynos 5420 pinctrl setup and clock disable failure due to domain being gatedKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+28
Audio subsystem clocks are located in separate block. On Exynos 5420 if clock for this block (from main clock domain) 'mau_epll' is gated then any read or write to audss registers will block. This kind of boot hang was observed on Arndale Octa and Peach Pi/Pit after introducing runtime PM to pl330 DMA driver. After that commit the 'mau_epll' was gated, because the "amba" clock was disabled and there were no more users of mau_epll. The system hang on one of steps: 1. Disabling unused clocks from audss block. 2. During audss GPIO setup (just before probing i2s0 because samsung_pinmux_setup() tried to access memory from audss block which was gated. Add a workaround for this by enabling the 'mau_epll' clock in probe.
