2018-06-06treewide: Use struct_size() for devm_kmalloc() and friendsKees Cook1-2/+1
Replaces open-coded struct size calculations with struct_size() for devm_*, f2fs_*, and sock_* allocations. Automatically generated (and manually adjusted) from the following Coccinelle script: // Direct reference to struct field. @@ identifier alloc =~ "devm_kmalloc|devm_kzalloc|sock_kmalloc|f2fs_kmalloc|f2fs_kzalloc"; expression HANDLE; expression GFP; identifier VAR, ELEMENT; expression COUNT; @@ - alloc(HANDLE, sizeof(*VAR) + COUNT * sizeof(*VAR->ELEMENT), GFP) + alloc(HANDLE, struct_size(VAR, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) // mr = kzalloc(sizeof(*mr) + m * sizeof(mr->map[0]), GFP_KERNEL); @@ identifier alloc =~ "devm_kmalloc|devm_kzalloc|sock_kmalloc|f2fs_kmalloc|f2fs_kzalloc"; expression HANDLE; expression GFP; identifier VAR, ELEMENT; expression COUNT; @@ - alloc(HANDLE, sizeof(*VAR) + COUNT * sizeof(VAR->ELEMENT[0]), GFP) + alloc(HANDLE, struct_size(VAR, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) // Same pattern, but can't trivially locate the trailing element name, // or variable name. @@ identifier alloc =~ "devm_kmalloc|devm_kzalloc|sock_kmalloc|f2fs_kmalloc|f2fs_kzalloc"; expression HANDLE; expression GFP; expression SOMETHING, COUNT, ELEMENT; @@ - alloc(HANDLE, sizeof(SOMETHING) + COUNT * sizeof(ELEMENT), GFP) + alloc(HANDLE, CHECKME_struct_size(&SOMETHING, ELEMENT, COUNT), GFP) Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org>
2017-06-09clk: samsung: s5pv210-audss: Convert to the new clk_hw APIMarek Szyprowski1-25/+27
Clock providers should use the new struct clk_hw based API, so convert Samsung S5PV210 Audio Subsystem clock provider to the new approach. Signed-off-by: Marek Szyprowski <m.szyprowski@samsung.com> Reviewed-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2016-07-13clk: samsung: make clk-s5pv210-audss explicitly non-modularPaul Gortmaker1-27/+2
The Kconfig currently controlling compilation of this code is: arch/arm/mach-s5pv210/Kconfig:config ARCH_S5PV210 arch/arm/mach-s5pv210/Kconfig: bool "Samsung S5PV210/S5PC110" if ARCH_MULTI_V7 ...meaning that it currently is not being built as a module by anyone. Lets remove the modular code that is essentially orphaned, so that when reading the driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only. We explicitly disallow a driver unbind, since that doesn't have a sensible use case anyway, and it allows us to drop the ".remove" code for non-modular drivers. Since this code is already not using module_init, case, the init ordering remains unchanged with this commit. We also delete the MODULE_LICENSE tags etc. since all that information is already contained at the top of the file in the comments. 2015-07-20clk: samsung: Properly include clk.h and clkdev.hStephen Boyd1-1/+1
Clock provider drivers generally shouldn't include clk.h because it's the consumer API. Only include clk.h in files that are using it. The clkdev.h header isn't always used either, so remove it and add in slab.h where files were relying on it to include slab for them. 2014-10-20clk: samsung: drop owner assignment from platform_driversWolfram Sang1-1/+0
A platform_driver does not need to set an owner, it will be populated by the driver core. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de>
2014-07-19clk: samsung: Add S5PV210 Audio Subsystem clock driverTomasz Figa1-0/+241
This patch adds a driver for clock controller being a part of Audio Subsystem present on S5PV210 and compatible SoCs. It is used to provide clocks for other IP blocks of this subsystem. Signed-off-by: Tomasz Figa <t.figa@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
