2016-11-30drm/bridge: Add ti-tfp410 DVI transmitter driverJyri Sarha1-0/+1
Add very basic ti-tfp410 DVI transmitter driver. The only feature separating this from a completely dummy bridge is the EDID read support trough DDC I2C. Even that functionality should be in a separate generic connector driver. However, because of missing DRM infrastructure support the connector is implemented within the bridge driver. Some tfp410 HW specific features may be added later if needed, because there is a set of registers behind i2c if it is connected. This implementation is tested against my new tilcdc bridge support and it works with BeagleBone DVI-D Cape Rev A3. A DT binding document is also updated. 2016-11-24drm: bridge: add DesignWare HDMI I2S audio supportKuninori Morimoto1-0/+1
Current dw-hdmi is supporting sound via AHB bus, but it has I2S audio feature too. This patch adds I2S audio support to dw-hdmi. This HDMI I2S is supported by using ALSA SoC common HDMI encoder driver. 2016-10-26drm/bridge: add Silicon Image SiI8620 driverAndrzej Hajda1-0/+1
SiI8620 transmitter converts eTMDS/HDMI signal to MHL 3.0. It is controlled via I2C bus. Its interaction with other devices in video pipeline is performed mainly on HW level. The only interaction it does on device driver level is filtering-out unsupported video modes, it exposes drm_bridge interface to perform this operation. 2016-10-10drm/bridge: Add RGB to VGA bridge supportMaxime Ripard1-0/+1
Some boards have an entirely passive RGB to VGA bridge, based on DACs implemented by resistor ladders. Those might or might not have an i2c bus routed to the VGA connector in order to access the screen EDIDs. Add a bridge that doesn't do anything but expose the modes available on the screen, either based on the EDIDs if available, or based on the XGA standards. 2016-07-17drm/bridge: tc358767: Add DPI to eDP bridge driverAndrey Gusakov1-0/+1
Add a drm_bridge driver for the Toshiba TC358767 DPI/DSI to eDP/DP bridge. Currently only DPI input with 24-bit RGB is supported. 2016-07-13drm/i2c: adv7511: Move to bridge folderArchit Taneja1-0/+1
The driver has been converted to use drm_bridge instead of drm_i2c_slave_encoder. We can now move it to the bridge folder. Create a separate folder since we already have a couple of files and expect more when we support audio and ADV7533. Rename the driver to adv7511_drv.c. This will come in handy later when the driver module will need to be built from multiple object files. Signed-off-by: Archit Taneja <architt@codeaurora.org>

2016-05-12drm/bridge: Add Analogix anx78xx supportEnric Balletbo i Serra1-0/+1
Although there are other chips from the same family that can reuse this driver, at the moment we only tested ANX7814 chip. The ANX7814 is an ultra-low power Full-HD (1080p60) SlimPort transmitter designed for portable devices. This driver adds initial support for HDMI to DP pass-through mode. 2016-04-05drm: bridge: analogix/dp: split exynos dp driver to bridge directoryYakir Yang1-0/+1
Split the dp core driver from exynos directory to bridge directory, and rename the core driver to analogix_dp_*, rename the platform code to exynos_dp. Beside the new analogix_dp driver would export six hooks. "analogix_dp_bind()" and "analogix_dp_unbind()" "analogix_dp_suspned()" and "analogix_dp_resume()" "analogix_dp_detect()" and "analogix_dp_get_modes()" The bind/unbind symbols is used for analogix platform driver to connect with analogix_dp core driver. And the detect/get_modes is used for analogix platform driver to init the connector. They reason why connector need register in helper driver is rockchip drm haven't implement the atomic API, but Exynos drm have implement it, so there would need two different connector helper functions, that's why we leave the connector register in helper driver. 2015-10-09drm: bridge/dw_hdmi-ahb-audio: add audio driverRussell King1-0/+1
Add ALSA based HDMI AHB audio driver for dw_hdmi. The only buffer format supported by the hardware is its own special IEC958 based format, which is not compatible with any ALSA format. To avoid doing too much data manipulation within the driver, we support only ALSAs IEC958 LE and 24-bit PCM formats for 2 to 6 channels, which we convert to its hardware format. A more desirable solution would be to have this conversion in userspace, but ALSA does not appear to allow such transformations outside of libasound itself.
