In certain randconfigs, clang warns:
drivers/gpu/drm/exynos/exynos_drm_dma.c:121:19: warning: variable
'mapping' is uninitialized when used here [-Wuninitialized]
priv->mapping = mapping;
^~~~~~~
drivers/gpu/drm/exynos/exynos_drm_dma.c:111:16: note: initialize the
variable 'mapping' to silence this warning
void *mapping;
^
= NULL
1 warning generated.
This occurs when CONFIG_EXYNOS_IOMMU is enabled and both
CONFIG_ARM_DMA_USE_IOMMU and CONFIG_IOMMU_DMA are disabled, which makes
the code look like
void *mapping;
if (0)
mapping = arm_iommu_create_mapping()
else if (0)
mapping = iommu_get_domain_for_dev()
...
priv->mapping = mapping;
Add an else branch that initializes mapping to the -ENODEV error pointer
so that there is no more warning and the driver does not change during
runtime.

schedule_delayed_work does not push back the work if it was already
scheduled before, so amdgpu_device_delay_enable_gfx_off ran ~100 ms
after the first time GFXOFF was disabled and re-enabled, even if GFXOFF
was disabled and re-enabled again during those 100 ms.
This resulted in frame drops / stutter with the upcoming mutter 41
release on Navi 14, due to constantly enabling GFXOFF in the HW and
disabling it again (for getting the GPU clock counter).
To fix this, call cancel_delayed_work_sync when the disable count
transitions from 0 to 1, and only schedule the delayed work on the
reverse transition, not if the disable count was already 0. This makes
sure the delayed work doesn't run at unexpected times, and allows it to
be lock-free.

Users reported that after commit 2bbd6dba84d4 ("drm/i915: Try to use
fast+narrow link on eDP again and fall back to the old max strategy on
failure"), the screen starts to have wobbly effect.
Commit a5c936add6a2 ("drm/i915/dp: Use slow and wide link training for
everything") doesn't help either, that means the affected eDP 1.2 panels
only work with max params.
So use max params for panels < eDP 1.4 as Windows does to solve the
issue.

Add a new drm_connector_oob_hotplug_event() function and
oob_hotplug_event drm_connector_funcs member.
On some hardware a hotplug event notification may come from outside the
display driver / device. An example of this is some USB Type-C setups
where the hardware muxes the DisplayPort data and aux-lines but does
not pass the altmode HPD status bit to the GPU's DP HPD pin.
In cases like this the new drm_connector_oob_hotplug_event() function can
be used to report these out-of-band events.
Changes in v2:
- Make drm_connector_oob_hotplug_event() take a fwnode as argument and
have it call drm_connector_find_by_fwnode() internally. This allows
making drm_connector_find_by_fwnode() a drm-internal function and
avoids code outside the drm subsystem potentially holding on the
a drm_connector reference for a longer period.
Changes in v3:
- Drop the data argument to the drm_connector_oob_hotplug_event
function since it is not used atm. This can be re-added later when
a use for it actually arises.

Add a fwnode pointer to struct drm_connector and register an acpi_bus_type
for the connectors with the ACPI subsystem (when CONFIG_ACPI is enabled).
The adding of the fwnode pointer allows drivers to associate a fwnode
that represents a connector with that connector.
When the new fwnode pointer points to an ACPI-companion, then the new
acpi_bus_type will cause the ACPI subsys to bind the device instantiated
for the connector with the fwnode by calling acpi_bind_one(). This will
result in a firmware_node symlink under /sys/class/card#-<connecter-name>/
which helps to verify that the fwnode-s and connectors are properly
matched.
Changes in v2:
- Make drm_connector_cleanup() call fwnode_handle_put() on
connector->fwnode and document this

Commit 04ed8459f334 ("drm/amdgpu: remove chash") removes the chash
architecture and its corresponding config CHASH.
There is still a reference to CHASH in the config DRM_AMDGPU in
./drivers/gpu/drm/Kconfig.
Remove this obsolete reference to config CHASH.

[Why]
In some cases when we unload driver, warning call trace
will show up in vram_mgr_fini which claims that LRU is not empty, caused
by the ttm bo inside delay deleted queue.
[How]
We should flush delayed work to make sure the delay deleting is done.

[why]
dcn301_calculate_wm_and_dl() causes flickering when external monitor is
connected.
This issue has been fixed before by commit 0e4c0ae59d7e
("drm/amdgpu/display: drop dcn301_calculate_wm_and_dl for now"), however
part of the fix was gone after commit 2cbcb78c9ee5 ("Merge tag 'amd-drm-next-5.13-2021-03-23' of https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/agd5f/linux into drm-next").
[how]
Use dcn30_calculate_wm_and_dlg() instead as in the original fix.

The TA has a limit to the amount of data that can be retrieved from
GET_TOPOLOGY. For setups that exceed this limit, the xGMI topology
needs to be re-initialized and data needs to be re-fetched from the
extended link records by setting a flag in the shared command buffer.
The number of hops and the number of links must be accumulated by the
driver. Other data points are all fetched from the first request.
Because the TA has already exceeded its link record limit, it
cannot hold bidirectional information. Otherwise the driver would
have to do more than two fetches so the driver has to reflect the
topology information in the opposite direction.

For tgl+, the per-context setting of MI_MODE[12] determines whether
the bits of a nested MI_BATCH_BUFFER_START instruction should be
interpreted in the traditional manner or whether they should
instead use a new tgl+ meaning that breaks backward compatibility, but
allows nesting into 3rd-level batchbuffers. For previous platforms,
the hardware default for this register bit is to maintain
backward-compatible behavior unless a context intentionally opts into
the new behavior; however Xe_HPG flips the hardware default behavior.
From a SW perspective, we want to maintain the backward-compatible
behavior for userspace, so we'll apply a fake workaround to set it back
to the legacy behavior on platforms where the hardware default is to
break compatibility. At the moment there is no Linux userspace that
utilizes third-level batchbuffers, so this will avoid userspace from
needing to make any changes. using the legacy meaning is the correct
thing to do. If/when we have userspace consumers that want to utilize
third-level batch nesting, we can provide a context parameter to allow
them to opt-in.

behaviour with the comparison of tmpdelta < delta. Fix this by setting
