2013-08-26HID: Fix Speedlink VAD Cezanne support for some devicesStefan Kriwanek1-3/+8
Some devices of the "Speedlink VAD Cezanne" model need more aggressive fixing than already done. I made sure through testing that this patch would not interfere with the proper working of a device that is bug-free. (The driver drops EV_REL events with abs(val) >= 256, which are not achievable even on the highest laser resolution hardware setting.) 2013-02-25HID: Kconfig: Remove explicit transport layer dependenciesBenjamin Tissoires1-2/+0
Most HID drivers (rightfully) only depend on the HID bus, not the specific transport layer. Remove such dependencies where applicable. 2013-01-03HID: Use module_hid_driver macroH Hartley Sweeten1-12/+1
Use the new module_hid_driver macro in all HID drivers that have a simple register/unregister init/exit. This also converts the hid drivers that test for a failure of hid_register_driver() and report the failure. Using module_hid_driver in those drivers removes the failure message. 2011-06-08HID: Add driver to fix Speedlink VAD Cezanne supportStefan Kriwanek1-0/+89
Speedlink VAD Cezanne have a hardware bug that makes the cursor "jump" from one place to another every now and then. The issue are relative motion events erroneously reported by the device, each having a distance value of +256. This 256 can in fact never occur due to real motion, therefore those events can safely be ignored. The driver also drops useless EV_REL events with a value of 0, that the device sends every time it sends an "real" EV_REL or EV_KEY event.
