2019-04-01IB: Pass only ib_udata in function prototypesShamir Rabinovitch1-3/+1
Now when ib_udata is passed to all the driver's object create/destroy APIs the ib_udata will carry the ib_ucontext for every user command. There is no need to also pass the ib_ucontext via the functions prototypes. Make ib_udata the only argument psssed. 2019-04-01IB: Pass uverbs_attr_bundle down ib_x destroy pathShamir Rabinovitch1-1/+2
The uverbs_attr_bundle with the ucontext is sent down to the drivers ib_x destroy path as ib_udata. The next patch will use the ib_udata to free the drivers destroy path from the dependency in 'uobject->context' as we already did for the create path. 2019-02-08RDMA: Handle PD allocations by IB/coreLeon Romanovsky1-21/+8
The PD allocations in IB/core allows us to simplify drivers and their error flows in their .alloc_pd() paths. The changes in .alloc_pd() go hand in had with relevant update in .dealloc_pd(). We will use this opportunity and convert .dealloc_pd() to don't fail, as it was suggested a long time ago, failures are not happening as we have never seen a WARN_ON print. 2019-01-10RDMA: Clear PD objects during their allocationLeon Romanovsky1-1/+1
As part of an audit process to update drivers to use rdma_restrack_add() ensure that PD objects is cleared before access. Signed-off-by: Leon Romanovsky <leonro@mellanox.com> Signed-off-by: Jason Gunthorpe <jgg@mellanox.com>
2017-02-19IB/hfi1, rdmavt: Update copy_sge to use boolean argumentsBrian Welty1-1/+1
Convert copy_sge and related SGE state functions to use boolean. For determining if QP is in user mode, add helper function in rdmavt_qp.h. This is used to determine if QP needs the last byte ordering. While here, change rvt_pd.user to a boolean. 2016-03-10IB/rdmavt: Clean up comments and add more documentationDennis Dalessandro1-0/+16
Add, remove, and otherwise clean up existing comments that are leftover from the initial code postings of rdmavt. Many of the comments were added to provide an idea on the direction we were thinking of going. Now that the design is solidified make a pass over and clean everything up. Also add details where lacking. Ensure all non static functions have nano comments. 2016-03-10IB/rdmavt: Add ib core device attributes to rvt driver params listDennis Dalessandro1-1/+1
Instead of trying to handle each parameter separately, add ib_device_attr to rvt_driver_params. This means drivers will fill this in and pass to the rvt registration function.
