2017-04-14Input: synaptics-rmi4 - change F12 clip to inactive border debugNick Dyer1-11/+7
The data in F12_2D_Ctrl8 corresponds to the inactive border width used by the RMI device. It is not in pixel units and should not be treated as a clip value. 2016-12-07Input: synaptics-rmi4 - fix debug for sensor clipNick Dyer1-5/+3
The debug would only ever output zero for the clip information. Signed-off-by: Nick Dyer <nick@shmanahar.org> Reviewed-by: Andrew Duggan <aduggan@synaptics.com> Tested-by: Chris Healy <cphealy@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2016-12-02Input: synaptics-rmi4 - store the attn data in the driverBenjamin Tissoires1-21/+22
Now that we have a proper API to set the attention data, there is no point in keeping it in the transport driver. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Tissoires <benjamin.tissoires@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Andrew Duggan <aduggan@synaptics.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2016-11-30Input: synaptics-rmi4 - have only one struct platform dataBenjamin Tissoires1-2/+2
If struct rmi_device_platform_data contains pointers to other struct, it gets difficult to allocate a fixed size struct and copy it over between drivers. Change the pointers into a struct and change the code in rmi4 accordingly. 2016-11-08Input: synaptics-rmi4 - handle incomplete input dataAndrew Duggan1-6/+17
Commit 5b65c2a02966 ("HID: rmi: check sanity of the incoming report") added support for handling incomplete HID reports do to the input data being corrupted in transit. This patch reimplements this functionality in the function drivers so they can handle getting less valid data then they expect. 2016-07-19Input: synaptics-rmi4 - fix maximum size check for F12 control register 8Andrew Duggan1-4/+5
According to the RMI4 spec the maximum size of F12 control register 8 is 15 bytes. The current code incorrectly reports an error if control 8 is greater then 14. Making sensors with a control register 8 with 15 bytes unusable. The pointer to struct rmi_function in f12_data is never set and was never used. The fn pointer is also stored in rmi_2d_sensor which is a member of f12_data.
