2019-05-14mfd: Use dev_get_drvdata() directlyKefeng Wang1-4/+2
Using dev_get_drvdata directly. Signed-off-by: Kefeng Wang <wangkefeng.wang@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2017-11-01mfd: ssbi: Use devm_of_platform_populate()Benjamin Gaignard1-1/+1
Use devm_of_platform_populate() instead of of_platform_populate() to be sure that of_platform_depopulate() is called when removing the driver. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2014-10-20mfd: drop owner assignment from platform_driversWolfram Sang1-1/+0
A platform_driver does not need to set an owner, it will be populated by the driver core. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de>
2014-01-21mfd: ssbi: Mark match table constStephen Boyd1-1/+1
This is a read-only data structure. Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2014-01-21mfd: ssbi: Constify buffer in ssbi_writeStephen Boyd1-4/+4
In preparation for passing a const pointer directly to ssbi_write() from the regmap APIs. Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2014-01-21mfd: ssbi: Remove platform data structs and hide ssbi type enumStephen Boyd1-0/+6
The ssbi driver assumes that the device is DT based. Remove the platform data structs that will never be used and hide the enum in the only C file that uses it. Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2013-06-18mfd: ssbi: Use devm_* and simplify codeStephen Boyd1-58/+11
Use devm_ioremap_resource and devm_kzalloc to simplify error paths and reduce lines of code. Also use dev_err() to keep consistency and drop the .remove function because the devm functions take care of what it's doing besides the now obsolete platform_set_drvdata() which we can just drop. Finally, use module_platform_driver() to save some more lines. 2013-06-18mfd: ssbi: Add MODULE_DEVICE_TABLEStephen Boyd1-0/+1
This allows the ssbi module to be autoloaded on boot. Cc: David Brown <davidb@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
2013-06-11mfd: Move ssbi driver into drivers/mfdArnd Bergmann1-0/+379
There is no reason for ssbi to have its own top-level driver directory when the only users of this interface are all MFD drivers. The only mainline driver using it at the moment (PM8921) is marked broken and in fact does not compile. I have verified that fixing the trivial build breakage in pm8921 links in the new ssbi code just fine, but that can be a separate patch.
