2010-12-29[media] MFD: WL1273 FM Radio: MFD driver for the FM radioMatti Aaltonen3-0/+159
This is the core of the WL1273 FM radio driver, it connects the two child modules. The two child drivers are drivers/media/radio/radio-wl1273.c and sound/soc/codecs/wl1273.c. The radio-wl1273 driver implements the V4L2 interface and communicates with the device. The ALSA codec offers digital audio, without it only analog audio is available. Signed-off-by: Matti J. While at it, remove unnecessary (void) casts on return value, and use schedule_delayed_work() and to_delayed_work() instead of using delayed_work's internal work field. On the TC35892, a random delayed interrupt clear (GPIO IC) write locks up the child interrupts. In such a case, the original interrupt is active and not yet acknowledged. Re-check the IRQST bit for any pending interrupts and handle those. 2010-12-10mfd: TWL6030: USBOTG VBUS event generation onHema HK1-1/+8
With TWL6030-usb, VBUS SESS_VLD and SESS_END events are not generated as expected. When these interrupts are enabled, charger VBUS detection interrupt does not get generated. So USBOTG has to be dependent on charger VBUS interrupts. So added one bit for USBOTG and changed the handler to call the USBOTG handler whenever there is a charger VBUS interrpt. VBUS SESS_VLD and SESS_END event generation issue is under debug with HW team. This fix might not be required once after fixing the issue. The WM8958 is a derivative of the WM8994 which is register compatible with the addition of some extra features, mostly in the CODEC side. The major change visible at the MFD level is that rather than a single DBVDD supply we now have three separate DBVDDs so we must request and enable a different set of supplies. The chip TRM documentation contradicts itself about this bit, page 174 of swcu050e says bit should be 0 for clear-on-read behavior, while page 487 says it should be 1. Testing shows it should be 1, so set the .set_cor flag accordingly. This is needed for upcoming BCI charging driver to function. 2010-10-29mfd: Adding twl6030 mmc card detect support for MMC1kishore kadiyala1-0/+73
Adding card detect callback function and card detect configuration function for MMC1 Controller on OMAP4. Card detect configuration function does initial configuration of the MMC Control & PullUp-PullDown registers of Phoenix. For MMC1 Controller, card detect interrupt source is twl6030 which is non-gpio. The card detect call back function provides card present/absent status by reading MMC Control register present on twl6030. Since OMAP4 doesn't use any GPIO line as used in OMAP3 for card detect, the suspend/resume initialization which was done in omap_hsmmc_gpio_init previously is moved to the probe thus making it generic for both OMAP3 & OMAP4. mc13892 is the companion PMIC for Freescale's i.MX51. It's similar enough to mc13782 to support it in a single driver. This patch introduces enough compatibility cruft to keep all users of the superseded mc13783 driver unchanged. 2010-10-29mfd: Remove obsolete mc13783 private dataUwe Kleine-König1-18/+9
The regulator driver was converted to get the needed data directly from platform_data by a10099b (regulator/mc13783: various cleanups) so regulators and num_regulators can go away. Then apart from the flag indicating that the adc does a conversion, flags is only a copy of the flags member of platform_data. This flag isn't needed to be returned by mc13783_get_flags, so mc13783_get_flags now gets the flags from platform_data, too and the driver private member is renamed for clearity.
