We are planning to share more code between different NAND based
devices (SPI NAND, OneNAND and raw NANDs), but before doing that
we need to move the existing include/linux/mtd/nand.h file into
include/linux/mtd/rawnand.h so we can later create a nand.h header
containing all common structure and function prototypes.

If ECC strength is 4bits/512bytes the algorithm of the ECC engine is
BCH, otherwise (1bit/512bytes) Hamming is used.

This fixes subpage writes when using 4-bit HW ECC.
There has been numerous reports about ECC errors with devices using this
driver for a while. Also the 4-bit ECC has been reported as broken with
subpages in [1] and with 16 bits NANDs in the driver and in mach* board
files both in mainline and in the vendor BSPs.
What I saw with 4-bit ECC on a 16bits NAND (on an LCDK) which got me to
try reinitializing the ECC engine:
- R/W on whole pages properly generates/checks RS code
- try writing the 1st subpage only of a blank page, the subpage is well
written and the RS code properly generated, re-reading the same page
the HW detects some ECC error, reading the same page again no ECC
error is detected
Note that the ECC engine is already reinitialized in the 1-bit case.
Tested on my LCDK with UBI+UBIFS using subpages.
This could potentially get rid of the issue workarounded in [1].

The core now takes care of parsing generic DT properties in
nand_scan_ident() when nand_set_flash_node() has been called.
Rely on this initialization instead of calling of_get_nand_xxx()
manually.

The davinci driver is manually checking for 'erased pages' while
correcting ECC bytes.
This logic can now done by the core infrastructure, and can thus be removed
from this driver.

The error code returned by the ecc.correct() are not consistent over the
all implementations.
Document the expected behavior in include/linux/mtd/nand.h and fix
offending implementations.
[Brian: this looks like a bugfix for the ECC reporting in the bf5xx_nand
driver, but we haven't seen any testing results for it]

All of these drivers set up a parser data struct just to communicate DT
partition data. This field has been deprecated and is instead supported
by telling nand_scan_ident() about the 'flash_node'.
This patch:
* sets chip->flash_node for those drivers that didn't already (but used
OF partitioning)
* drops the parser data
* switches to the simpler mtd_device_register() where possible, now
that we've eliminated one of the auxiliary parameters
Now that we've assigned chip->flash_node for these drivers, we can
probably rely on nand_dt_init() to do more of the DT parsing for us, but
for now, I don't want to fiddle with each of these drivers. The parsing
is done in duplicate for now on some drivers. I don't think this should
break things. (Famous last words.)

Sub page write doesn't work because of hw issue in controller found on
Keystone SOCs. AEMIF controller is also used on DaVinci SOCs which
don't seems to have any issue. So add "ti,keysone-nand" compatible
to nand driver in order to set NAND_NO_SUBPAGE_WRITE option.

None of these files are actually using any __init type directives
and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a
left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to
code getting copied from one driver to the next.

The problem that the set timings code contains the call of Davinci
platform function davinci_aemif_setup_timing() which is not
accessible if kernel is built for another platform like Keystone.
The Keysone platform is going to use TI AEMIF driver.
If TI AEMIF is used we don't need to set timings and bus width.
It is done by AEMIF driver.
To get rid of davinci-nand driver dependency on aemif platform code
we moved aemif code to davinci platform.
The platform AEMIF code (aemif.c) has to be removed once Davinci
will be converted to DT and use ti-aemif.c driver.

The TI AEMIF driver registers are used to setup timings for each chip
select. The same registers range is used to setup NAND settings.
The AEMIF and NAND drivers not use the same registers in this range.
In case with TI AEMIF driver, the memory address range is requested
already by AEMIF, so we cannot request it twice, just ioremap.

The properties davinci-ecc-mode, davinci-nand-use-bbt, davinci-nand-buswidth
are MTD generic. Correct names for them are: nand-ecc-mode, nand-on-flash-bbt,
nand-bus-width accordingly. So rename them in dts and documentation.

When kernel is booted using DT, there is no guarantee that Davinci
NAND device has been created already at the time when driver init
function is executed. Therefore, platform_driver_probe() can't be used
because this may result the Davinci NAND driver will never be probed.
The driver probing has to be made with core mechanism.

davinci_nand driver currently uses normal kzalloc, ioremap and get_clk
routines. This patch replaces these routines with devm_kzalloc,
devm_request_and_ioremap and devm_clk_get resp.

Commit cdeadd712f52b16a9285386d61ee26fd14eb4085 (mtd: nand: davinci: add OF
support for davinci nand controller) has never been really build tested with
the driver as a module. When the driver is built-in, the missing semicolon
after structure initializer is "compensated" by MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() macro
being empty and so the initializer using the trailing semicolon on the next
line; when the driver is built as a module, compilation error ensues, and as
the 'davinci_all_defconfig' has the NAND driver modular, this error prevents
DaVinci family kernel from building...

As a first step towards migrating davinci platforms to use common clock
framework, replace all instances of clk_enable() with clk_prepare_enable()
and clk_disable() with clk_disable_unprepare(). Until the platform is
switched to use the CONFIG_HAVE_CLK_PREPARE Kconfig variable, this just
adds a might_sleep() call and would work without any issues.
This will make it easy later to switch to common clk based implementation
of clk driver from DaVinci specific driver.

Flash device drivers initialize 'ecc_strength' in struct mtd_info, which is the
maximum number of bit errors that can be corrected in one writesize region.
Drivers using the nand interface intitialize 'strength' in struct nand_ecc_ctrl,
which is the maximum number of bit errors that can be corrected in one ecc step.
Nand infrastructure code translates this to 'ecc_strength'.
Also for nand drivers, the nand infrastructure code sets ecc.strength for ecc
modes NAND_ECC_SOFT, NAND_ECC_SOFT_BCH, and NAND_ECC_NONE. It is set in the
driver for all other modes.

Since 'cmdline, NULL' is now a default for parse_mtd_partitions, don't specify
this in every driver, instead pass NULL to force parse_mtd_partitions
to use default.

Recall the recently added prefix requirements:
* "NAND_" for flags in nand.h, used in nand_chip.options
* "NAND_BBT_" for flags in bbm.h, used in nand_chip.bbt_options
or in nand_bbt_descr.options
Thus, I am changing NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT to NAND_BBT_USE_FLASH.
Again, this flag is found in bbm.h and so should NOT be used in the
"nand_chip.options" field.

This patch works with the following three flags from two headers (nand.h
and bbm.h):
(1) NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT (nand.h)
(2) NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB (nand.h)
(3) NAND_BBT_NO_OOB (bbm.h)
These flags are all related and interdependent, yet they were in
different headers. Flag (2) is simply the combination of (1) and (3) and
can be eliminated.
This patch accomplishes the following:
* eliminate NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB (i.e., flag (2))
* move NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT (i.e., flag (1)) to bbm.h
It's important to note that because (1) and (3) are now both found in
bbm.h, they should NOT be used in the "nand_chip.options" field.
I removed a small section from the mtdnand DocBook because it referes to

The DaVinci NAND driver was including the mach-types.h header
file.
This prevented the DaVinci NAND driver from getting used
in a DSP only device. The linux port on c6x devices can make
use of the same driver and does not define a corresponding
header file.
This header file was required in the driver because earlier there was code
dependent on a machine_* check. This piece of code has now been factored out
and is in arch/arm/mach-davinci/aemif.c
Thus removing the header file is harmless

Sudhakar found out that 100µs are enough. Sadly, his updated patch was
overlooked and an older version still using 100ms was merged. Fix this.
