2014-11-05amd-xgbe: Let AMD_XGBE depend on HAS_IOMEMLendacky, Thomas1-1/+1
The amd-xgbe driver needs to perform ioremap calls, so add HAS_IOMEM to its build dependency. Signed-off-by: Tom Lendacky <thomas.lendacky@amd.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-07-30amd-xgbe: Add traffic class supportLendacky, Thomas1-0/+10
This patch adds support for traffic classes as well as support for Data Center Bridging interfaces related to traffic classes and priority flow control. Signed-off-by: Tom Lendacky <thomas.lendacky@amd.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-07-30amd-xgbe: Add hardware timestamp supportLendacky, Thomas1-0/+1
This patch adds support for Tx and Rx hardware timestamping. Signed-off-by: Tom Lendacky <thomas.lendacky@amd.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-06-26amd-xgbe: Change destination address filtering supportLendacky, Thomas1-0/+1
Currently the driver makes use of the additional mac address registers in the hardware to provide perfect filtering. The hardware can also have a set of hash table registers that can be used for imperfect filtering. By using imperfect filtering the additional mac address registers can be used for layer 2 filtering support. Use the hash table registers if the device has them. 2014-06-26amd-xgbe: Add support for VLAN filteringLendacky, Thomas1-0/+1
This patch adds support for (imperfect) filtering of VLAN tag ids using a 16-bit filter hash table. When VLANs are added, a 4-bit hash is calculated with the result indicating the bit in the hash table to set. This table is used by the hardware to drop packets with a VLAN id that does not hash to a set bit in the table. Signed-off-by: Tom Lendacky <thomas.lendacky@amd.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-06-05amd-xgbe: Configuration and build supportLendacky, Thomas1-1/+13
This patch provides the Kconfig and Makefile changes needed to configure and build the AMD 10GbE platform driver and the AMD 10GbE phylib driver. Signed-off-by: Tom Lendacky <thomas.lendacky@amd.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2013-06-19net: Move MII out from under NET_CORE and hide itBen Hutchings1-2/+0
All drivers that select MII also need to select NET_CORE because MII depends on it. This is a bit ridiculous because NET_CORE is just a menu option that doesn't enable any code by itself. There is also no need for it to be a visible option, since its users all select it. 2013-01-22drivers/net: delete old DEC depca ISA drivers support.Paul Gortmaker1-13/+0
These are old ISA 10Mbit cards from the 1st 1/2 of the 1990s and required manual jumper settings in order to configure them. Here we remove them on the premise that they are no longer used in any modern 3.9+ kernels. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
2013-01-06drivers/net: remove orphaned references to micro channelPaul Gortmaker1-2/+2
We threw away the microchannel support, but the removal wasn't completely trivial since there was namespace overlap with the machine check support, and hence some orphaned dependencies survived the deletion. This attempts to sweep those up and send them to the bit-bucket. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2012-01-30drivers/net: fix up stale paths from driver reorgPaul Gortmaker1-1/+1
The reorganization of the driver layout in drivers/net left behind some stale paths in comments and in Kconfig help text. Bring them up to date. No actual change to any code takes place here. 2011-09-15MII: fix Kconfig dependencies for MIIJeff Kirsher1-0/+2
MII Kconfig option is apart of the core networking drivers and by default NET_CORE is enabled so drivers selecting MII will have MII enabled as well. It was found using the randconfig option during testing, MII would be selected but NET_CORE could be disabled. This caused a dependency error. Resolved the dependency by selecting NET_CORE when MII is selected. 2011-08-27drivers/net/ethernet/*: Enabled vendor Kconfig optionsJeff Kirsher1-0/+1
Based on finds for Stephen Rothwell, where current defconfig's enable a ethernet driver and it is not compiled due to the newly added NET_VENDOR_* component of Kconfig. This patch enables all the "new" Kconfig options so that current defconfig's will continue to compile the expected drivers. In addition, by enabling all the new Kconfig options does not add any un-expected options. CC: Stephen Rothwll <sfc@canb.auug.org.au> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2011-08-10amd: Move AMD (Lance) chipset driversJeff Kirsher1-0/+192
Moves the drivers for the AMD chipsets into drivers/net/ethernet/amd/ and the necessary Kconfig and Makfile changes. The au1000 (Alchemy) driver was also moved into the same directory even though it is not a "Lance" driver.
